Reviews for Ripe Tomato in Malta NY?

Hey everyone,

I drive by the Ripe Tomato on RT.9 in Malta all of the time and thinking about stopping there soon. I hear a lot of good things about the place and it is always packed it seems.

Any suggestions for what on the menu to get or when is the best time to stop in there?

You will definitely like the food their. It's my second favorite restaurant in the area lol.

As for the dishes, I've had many and never been dissapointed... I love the Haddock Pomodora for seafood, and...I would say next up I would take the Chicken marsala.

Oh yea forgot to mention best time..

Best answer I can give you is not to be intimidated by the full parking lot. I have always been amazed at how fast you get sat and eat. Go whenever is best for you!

Is this place related to the Cherry Tomato?

they have similar signs...I love the cherry tomato so if it is by the same owners, I would go there now! Sorry for the lack of insight, but u i'm hoping to find this information out. Thanks and good luck with your night out!

This place is indeed owned by the same owners as the Cherry Tomato. Never been there, but thanks for the info

Yeah, it's a great restaurant with good food and a cozy atmosphere (decent prices too. Especially when compared to the downtown Saratoga restaurants). I'd definitely recommend stopping in.

The menu has a large selection of creative dishes but also offers some great classic fare. If you're looking for a good time to visit, I'd recommend the Sunday Brunch, they do a great job with that! But, I've been in there on both weekend and week day evenings too (I live not far from there) and I've always had a good experience. Haven't tried them for lunch yet.

I've never been to the Cherry Tomato but I've passed by on my way up to Vermont. If it's anything like The Ripe Tomato, I'll have to check it out!
