Absolutely. Its not a matter of disagreeing with you that there are more significant issues for all the cities of CA to be dealing with. In fact, I made that same point much a few days ago.

The issues are so critical at this point its not just a matter of how the cities will prosper but how they will stay afloat and out of the red. The best chance Baldwin Park has is to have its best and brightest at the table -- at the helm making the decisions. People who can think critically and creatively and develop new paradigms for old problems. People who have investment in the city that goes beyond personal financial gain. People who recognize that not all decisions will make them popular but to put the best interest of the majority of the community first and to have some forethought for the future of BP, not simply the immediate needs.

The sideshow antics and preoccupation on Halloween pictures and salicious remarks about the Mayor's sexual preference or the Garcia's weight are driven by people with their own agenda. Hopefully the people of Baldwin Park will recognize that and see that Councilman Bejarano seems to be one the best and brightest on their council in years.

I'm betting your one of the people in the Bejarano holloween pictures and you seem to try and pump everyone full of BS that AB is actually bright. Do you call bright going out in public drunk and getting arrested, almost getting a DUI in irwindale but thanks to his step mom[Garcia] and step dad[Lozano] that didn't happen and now these pictures. If you think this is a bright young person then your creditability is gone your just as we suspected a Bejarano groupie full of BS.

Lets talk about the issues that have been raised. The urban renewal project he was backing that recently lost funding and is now stalled. In the absence of that urban renewal, how do you propose BP revitalize its downtown, remove blight and create a stronger tax base to address funding shortages?

I am in no way a spokesperson for Councilman Bejarano but I hardly think that he's looking for his next election platform to be delineated by you here in these forums. Why so cagey about what your ideas for city development? Why not be a good citizen and share the ideas so that the people elected and responsible for growth can consider ALL ideas and best practices when making their decisions?

It seems a bit disingenuous to accuse the present council of not listening to the will of the people and then to purposely hold back what you think is vital information and creative planning for the city. Is it an ego issue? You do realize that not all civic leaders are elected? Leadership is denoted by those who step up and provide leadership regardless of personal gain and ego.

Yes you have got it, it is all of us that have not been watching our city and state governments. We are responsible for voting in these morons who have no interest in really serving the real citizens an protecting the citizens from illegals coming in and costing this state billions of dollars. The public officials are running scared now because the people are tired of the way the cities are being run and there is going to be more accountability now and checking on them to.
