Why Be Amazed! Westwood Associates a name below any name, that the money behind them refuses to identify, can mean any number of individuals. Namely: Risha, an original investor; Mervos, school board president and connected to the supertendent's philosophy of increaing ones wealth; and Jake, former teacher and long time friend of Mervos, both on the same page with Risha. It's commonly known that Jake one time was very knowlegable about the business that Risha does from the "bedside" of his home, outside the County of Allegheny.

Since our local polititicians for the last 2 decades have done so little to advance the interest of our communiy, why not let the fine county of Allegheny have a shot at it, therefor bring on Section 8 housing! Let's be the first community that welcomes fellow Americans! Perhaps someone or several residents could provide real leadership. I'm tired of a squabling Council, a school board on the take, an inept police department and Pistol Packing Pat!

Alexandroff is a one and done politician. Once he opens his mouth up, regret will be felt all around. Once the dust settles, people will ask themselves "why did an unemployed single 45 year old man who has never been married become a school director?" Answer: to get himself a job. And all that foolishness Alexandroff brigs hurts the kids. Theonly thing he brings to the table is failure. We have had enough of that. I am putting my faith into Price, Shar and Cale. 1 Grahams talked a good game, and he will be done in two years. Got his father in law hired, and his wife. His wife stinks, and she needs a good shower. His shower should be working, The School District Plumber was over his house!!! More than once I might add!!

Nick will be gone in 4. He is a little creepy jerk. He is the one who smells. Those clothes he wears are about 20 years old and smell like they haven't been washed in 15 years. Nick is trying to use the school position to get a job. He will owe whoever gets him a job. But he is so unemployable and stupid that he can't get out of the pizza delivery business. If Nick was smart, he would be a sought after employee for any company. Instead, he is collecting unemployment for the 18th month in a row and delivering mediocre pizza. |

All I'm going to tell the new board is this,, you as a board member and a duty to the tax payers to find out from the Pa Board of Education if all the people in administration have REAL degrees! He wants the planning Commission to give their blessing to the section 8 housing at Westwood......Never gonna happen Jake. All of you against the Condos at Westwood which are really carriage homes (1 floor ranch type housing) ought to think twice. If the zoning doesn't get approved to build them Section 8 will be able to move in. He can start building cheap houses tommorrow if he wants. Most of these carriage homes are bought by the elderly that want a 1 floor home, 2 car garage, not have to shovel snow and cut grass. Take a look at the ones on West Run Road. See any low income families living in them. You people just think that because Duquesne is in or schools that we'll turn into West Duquesne. We need to build these type of developments to stop that from happening. They wont be able to afford them. Get into the 21st century. This is what the new baby boomer starting to retire generation wants. And for your info I don't know the man that owns Westwood and I'm glad Risha is gone. So don't say I'm one of their Puppets. I'm just someone that can see opportunities that are needed in this Boro before we lose all our tax base. If we don't develop we are doomed. Really think about what he wants to develop not OMG they're putting section 8 housing up at Westwood. From what I heard at the meeting he's not, unless it get's turned down. |

You just cant erect a home in west mifflin,or anywhere else...there are strict laws and regulations that have to be met you moron! Try improving the golf course and bring the prices down,that golf course went to hell years ago.......At one time those greens were comp[ared to Oakmont.....now their just plain old greens. |

1 It is zoned residential. All you need to do in WM is have 60 foot frontage. They need approval to build patio homes as some share a common wall. I hope they get turned down. Instead of 20 something condos selling at $200Knon a 9 hole golf course, it may be 300 potential section 8 houses selling for 50 grand each. Call the place West Duquesnewood. Welcome all the baby mamas! |
