I dunno how things are over i Nassau but maybe he can talk to the DA and bargain down to probation or a fine if he promises to cease all of his involved criminal activity...

Or if they had any sese they could just lock him up and throw away the key!

Too Bad it took a life to get another Animal off the streets !!! I'm quite sure he has no reason for this senseless killing.

Or they could do the right thing and torture him and then kill him.

no one is "completely innocent, as im quite sure you have skeletons in your closet as well. The kid was trying to better himself and was in school and NOT on the street making trouble, someone else walks up to him in broad daylight shoots and kills this young man unprovoked and you say "he was no innocent"???

Again the newspaper has people forming an opinion based on speculation. Just bc this man was arrested does not mean he did it!! Calm down people! You dont know the truth in this matter. Thats why I hate this BS-- never innocent until proven guilty! I dont know either person involved, but they always paint a nice portrait of the vic! The man they arrested could be an honor grad for all we know! Why is his full name and address in the paper and he hasnt been convicted of a thing! Journalism has turned to rubbish!! The D.A. must be the new editor at Newsday. Don't you ppl know what influence this article has on public opinion! No fair trial on this one! My heart goes out to all families involved!

it dont matter what the victim was NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO MURDER. IT DONT MATTER IF THE ONE ACCUSED IS A HONOR STUDENT OR A PRIEST. STILL DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO MURDER

This sounds gang related but NCPD don't think so. That's why gangs will control LI because of inept police department.

Really, Murder being a crime goes without saying! The fact of the matter is ppl are acting like this man is guilty bc the article says he was arrested!! My comment is about being "innocent until proven guilty". That does not exist anymore!

We's killing ourselves and sitting around and wanting to say or do nothing about it.

If the shooter here had been a white man or a cop I could only imagine the scene that would developed immediately afterwards with the racebaiters and so-called reverends.
