It would be nice if Mr. Shoemaker cared about Chase Township. He harassed Board Members at the Board meeting. He threatens them. He does not allow them to speak. He acts like Chase Twp only belongs to him and Mommy. How much rent does preacher mommy's church pay to use the church hall each week preventing residents from any chance of using it? Why are citizen's prohibited from speaking or asking questions at a public meeting? Can we sue Mr. Shoemaker personally for violating our rights? Can he be charged with assault for threatening citizens and board members? How much of the taxes collected in Chase Twp the past four years ended up in Shoemaker's pocket? Paying his personal cell phone? Internet? Gas? How much did clerk mommy Shoemaker pay her son without having receipts? Does anyone know how much Shoemaker and mommy spent? Embezzlement!!!!

Government corruption is worse when you are stealing from your neighbors. Mr. Shoemaker you do not need the township to pay for your home Internet. Use the library Internet for the public use. The taxpayer's do not want to pay for your family to use the Internet. There are better uses for our tax dollars than your conviemce. Please disclose every dollar paid to you. For you or for your benefit. How many legal expenses has Chase Twp had because you called attorneys without board approval? How much tax benefit do you get on your mommy's property by manipulating the value of the property. Corruption. The state attorney general should investigate this public corruption and put the Shoemaker's in jail.

First off, the supervisor has nothing to do with the taxes or collecting the mo
Ney. The trustees have the the most power on the board and can make a motian to limit or dictate what the supervisor is in charge of. The trustees need to educate themselves on thier positions. I served for 4 years as a trustee.

For example the traverse city board of trustees just stripped the supervisor of all his duties.
