I recently talked to Mayor Housholder about the building being torn down in downtown Clay. After discussing the sadness of the matter, i asked if there were any plans to build something there, or if they would extend the small park, or just what their intentions were. He told me that they had some people who had "expressed interest" in some condos being built there.
I know that our town needs whatever it can get as far as income goes, but I don't know if building condos there would be the best plan. i realize that its hard to find a business that is willing to come to clay also, but in my opinion, it need to be a business, or a park or something.
that location downtown is a commercial zone, and building any kind of house there wouldnt seem right.

Maybe so, but since the local inbreds couldn't afford a condo, it could lure new blood into the area. Half the problem solved.

One thing that would benefit Webster County is if they would lift the ban on selling alcohol. This would bring more to the county than condos. Besides, certain establishments(VFW) allow the sell of beer, so why don't they make the whole county wet?
