I deeply regret that I have put erroneous information about George Lucas Gonzalez on this forum. The information that I received was misleading and incorrect. I have found a person that has witnessed George’s initiation as an Inca Shaman. My apologies to you and to George. He is a reverend and did attend the Edgar Cayce Foundation and worked there as well.

I deeply regret that I have sent you completely erroneous information about George Lucas Gonzalez. He was trained and initiated by Don Manuel Quispe. The information that I received was misleading and incorrect. I have found a person that has witnessed George’s initiation as an Inca Shaman. My apologies to you and to George and to any hurt I have caused. All the information that I have received was incorrect and unfounded. I should not have pursued this. His time at the Edgar Cayce Foundation has been established as well as his status as a PhD and a Reverend. George is a decent and caring person and wonderful healer. He has helped many people. I have witnessed this myself. What has been said about him is wrong.
Thank you, Larry Rudisill |

I retract my above post. It is not true that I have verified any of the information about Mr. Gonzalez that I claimed in the above post. I was forced to make a the above statement via blackmail by a family member of Mr. Gonzalez. Since, I have made sure no harm could come to me or anyone else (I am speaking of emotional and legal liability, not physical harm), I must speak my truth. I was told via an email by Mr. Gonzalez, an email which I have saved, that I would be sued for slander and liable if I did not make the above statement. Not knowing if I could be sued, I made the statement in my earlier post claiming that I had verified Mr. Gonzalez was. I have since found out that nothing I have said is legally slanderous nor could I be held legally liable.
I have not been able to verify his initiation as an inca shaman by Don Manuel Quispe. Here is a post that appeared and disappeared on one of the forums that I was inquiring about Mr. Gonzalez: Dr Joahnna Justan Waxhaw, NC Reply » |Flag |#9 8 hrs ago Please send me an email at cashdailycash@yahoo.com if you know anything about him, positive or negative. You have implied that you doubt that Mr. Gonzalez has studied shamanism and has been personally initiated and named Yachai Hempe by Don Manuel Quispe. I can verify that George Gonzalez was initiated and named by Don Manuel Quispe because I personally witnessed this event. George was initiated in August 1999 by Don Manuel Quispe, along with a number of other shamanic students of Alberto Villoldo, the founder of The Four Winds Society, and Alberto's certified teachers. This initiation was open only to those who had completed a rigorous course of shamanic study designed by Alberto Villarldo under the guidance of Don Manuel Quispe. This initiation was the culmination of a ten day celebration "A Gathering of Shaman at Canyon de Chelly" in New Mexico and was attended by approximately 80 shaman and shamanic students from various professions, many of whom would remember George Gonzalez and would be able to vouch for his participation. The Four Winds Society located in Utah should have maintained records of George's initiation, as well as others who have attended this event. In addition, both Alberto Villoldo and Jose Louise Herrera, two of the most prominent Andean Medicine Shaman, both attended this event and are likely to remember George as well. To date, you have operated without complete knowledge. But now that you are aware of the truth and possess names and resources to verify this truth,.... |

I have contacted The Four Winds Society but have received no response as of yet.
I forwarded Denise Kinch of http://www.vanishingcultures.com/DonManuel.ht... the above post and this is what she emailed me: -----Original Message----- From: Denise Sent: Oct 3, 2007 6:13 PM To: Larry Rudisill Subject: Re: Mail from Vanishing Cultures Website HI Larry, I was not at that particular meeting, I was with the 5 elders while they were in R.I. teaching with Alberto. I can tell you these meetings with the elders in 1999 were not just open to students who went thru rigorous training with Alberto, they were open to anyone who could afford to attend, many with no training at all. As I stated before, I have never heard Don Manuel, my teacher for 12 years until his death in 2004, when I was with him in his Q'ero village of chuachua, give the Yachai Hampe rites. I do know a number of people who attended this workshop. I have never heard of this person who sent you this message, but I do know a Joanna Johnson from the US. But she was not involved in Alberto's teachings. Sorry I can not help you any further. Munay, Denise A later email from Denise reads: From: xxx@aol.com [Add to Address Book] To: xxxxxx @earthlink.net Subject: Re: Mail from Vanishing Cultures Website Date: Oct 4, 2007 10:25 AM Hi Larry, The yachai Hampe rites do not exist in any of Don Manuel's teachings. However I have heard Juan Nunez Del Prado does them. I do not know what they are. Munay, Denise |

To: Larry Rudisill <xxxxx@earthlink.net> Subject: Re: Mail from Vanishing Cultures Website Date: Oct 9, 2007 7:11 AM HI Larry, .....As I said before, I do not know George, but I know Alberto Villoldo very well, I taught for him for 7 years and assisted in every workshop when he had Don Manuel in the US, except for the one in the canyon lands. Hope this helps. Munay, Denise The person that I said that I found that could verify George's initiation was the person who made the disappearing post above. Nor did I receive information from the Edgar Cayce Foundation of his time there. He may have or may not have but according to my correspondence with them, they have no record of him or knowledge of him. Here is what I have been able to verify 100%: He is not a member of the American Psychological Association, the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, the NC Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board, the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of North Carolina, the National Board for Certified Counselors or the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board, or the North Carolina Psychology Board. You will notice that he advertises himself as a holistic psychotherapist. Mr. Gonzalez has seen this thread and is certainly welcome to post information that is easily verifiable by anyone who would like to check his credentials and claims about himself. If he is in fact a Ph.D, then where did he receive his Ph.D? If he is an ordained minister, then where did he receive his ordination? Who at the Edgar Cayce Foundation would be able to verify his time there? These should be easily answered questions by Mr. Gonzalez if they are true. What legal code or law gives him the right to advertise himself as a holistic psychotherapist? This should be easily answered. I challenge Mr. Gonzalez to answer these questions publically on this forum. Any answers should be easily verifiable by anyone who would want to use his services. I am only questioning his claims about himself. I am not calling him a liar or saying that what he says about himself is untrue. I have posted questions and research that I have gathered. If I were going to see a therapist or doctor or any professional, I would want to see proof that they were in fact trained, certified, and legally able to practice in their profession. I would demand proof. This is what I am trying to find out about Mr. Gonzalez. I find it interesting and odd that he has not come to this forum and spoken up for himself. Show me the proof. That's all I ask. |

This comment was meant to be posted above the post I made that starts...." have contacted The Four Winds Society but have received no response as of yet." Read this post and then go back to the above posts to maintain the order. The 4000 character limit messed me up.

George LUcas Gonzalez Is a sham and will blackmail and Try to sue, or so he will say. He is an abuser and very bad individual. All beware. Anyone can become a minister so that is not any indication of his sincerity. Most suits brought up against him are like most predators, not enough foresight to gather enough evidence until he has moved on or scammed his way out with lies. This is only well meaning and hope to help others not to get involved with this man.

The retraction I made was under duress. You are very right that George is a sham. I am so glad that someone is getting this out. |
