Who is for or against our students wearing them to our schools?
#2 Oct 16, 2012
There are pros and cons to having our children wear uniforms. My main concern is price. I'm a poor mama and i cannot afford an overpriced outfit for my child to wear. Other than that i really can't see a problem with it. As long as our kids can wear any shoes they want.

I truly don't see the concept of making your child wear a school issues uniform, then basically demanding them be able to wear whatever shoe they please. You must be a tweeker

Good idea but same shoes

The concept is i don't want to have to go pay $200 for a stupid pair of shoes. I've got other bills such as electric and water. They come first. At least to a responsible adult they do.

we haven't needed uniforms since the school was founded in 1927, so why would it be an issue now?

School uniforms?! The students express their individuality through their clothing. It's part of their character. Take that away and what? Then they just fall into the fold of not being able to express their personality? No. If you want your child to wear a uniform, send them to a private school. Plain and simple.

I think school uniforms would be great! I think chidren have many other ways to express their individuality. I can't afford the new styles for myself and I don't think many others barely can. The kids would look nice and neat. I don't think people would be bothered about what they are wearing. No distractions, no drama, and no clothing violations!!(Unless not wearing uniform).
I think they should be able to wear any pair of shoes they want. Bald Knob School should consider making uniforms a policy.:)

If the teacher tought as much as they bitch about the uniforms it would be a good school . But what they miss u is uni witch means one not three like this school does. It looks good when all the kids are dressed the same but all people cant aford the hi stuff. We live in a pore place so we need to think of that in the long run.

I don't think so. No school is going to tell me how to cut my child's hair.

If all the kids had the same clothes and the same haircut maybe they would act like they have some sense.

@decent woman - this isnt some nazi camp , so we shouldnt have cut hair ,wear uniforms, look the same. For starters my daughter has long hair why wud i chop it off. Second my kid has closet full of nice clothes, third i dnt want kid looking like everyone else. My daughter is creative an artistic like to do her own style so no i disagree

There are places that sell inexpensive uniforms. Plus they are basics you can buy at Walmart and even dollar general. Khaki pants, shirts in certain colors- blue, red, white. Now shoes- all the AR schools with uniforms don't require certain shoes. They usually pick a color- like brown or white. The short hair idea is ridiculous. It's a public school+ not a private school.
