Red light cameras come to Bexar County

Balcones Heights, which is a small incorporated city within San Antonio, is the latest place to install red light cameras .

I would like to see more added to San Antonio and other cities since drivers continue to run red lights and speed on our roads. Since we cannot afford police to monitor every mile of our roads, a little assistance is necessary. People will complain, but they are the minority vote on this issue since they are probably the biggest abusers of our driving laws. It is terrible way to do business, but the cost is cheaper that hiring thousands of officers to do what electronics can do cheaper and provide the same results. Owners of cars will complain that they may not be driving the car, but the owner is responible for that vehicle and should be held accountable. The owner can provide the name of the driver and make them accountable for their actions, if they have the honesty.
