Agencies bust human smuggling ring

Federal and local police officials said four U.S. and Mexican citizens charged with kidnapping Wednesday were holding 26 suspected illegal immigrants hostage in a mobile home near San Marcos in Hays County.

We do not need the military down here. And you should understand most illegals that are picked up these days are going up north to work. They are taking the jobs that are low paying. Most of us would not work in a field or as someone cleaning out a feed lot or large butcher operation or a maid. Not only that but how many employ them cutting your grass or cleaning your house. Until the minimum wages are raised and US citizens can make a living wage on the low end jobs we will continue with illegals.

I keep reading this argument over and over, and I think it’s a load of crap. These are jobs that Americans wont do at the wage they are paying. If there was no one whiling to do the job at that low price, they would increase the wage until there were some legal takers. If not they would do what they have done for many other problems, make a machine that will do it. Lettuce picking, cotton picking and separation on so on. There is no incentive for them to come up with another solution, they are getting the labor cheap, why spend the time to fix something that isn’t broken….so I say break it and let them figure out a solution

For those who say the employers cant afford it, or we couldn’t afford the goods when they had to increase the price…we can afford to have all the illegal here, it cost far more.

One of the major areas we should go after to stop illegal immigration is the people giving them jobs. Fine these people for ever illegal they have working for them. no jobs means no reason for most of these illegal to come here.

What in the world happened to making the thousands in prison work in the fields as we use to do many years ago? Now they just sit around watching TV, working on computers, and lifting weights. Put them to work and also create more jobs to guard them while working. Send the illegals packing and save our medical facilities and schools.
