Those big corporations fund the National Council of La Raza because they know that La Raza is not a hate group. I don't know of any other La Rasa. Why not attend their yearly conferences so you'll see that their priorities are issues like education. I think YOU should get informed.
There are just too many hispanics and that can't be changed. Did you watch the 2008 Miss Universe Pageant? Four out of the 5 finalists were hispanic.Sorry that Miss USA fell down for the second time. AS expected. the media gave her all the attention instead of Miss Universe. As an American of hispanic origin, I was hoping Miss USA would be a finalist.
Muchos Hispanos,mucho cambio!!!

I agree with you more than you might believe, I know it's going to be a tough go the next 3 years, but, this is what it took for the reasonable people to wake up and realize that wrong is wrong. A segment of our population was rightfully enraged at the poor treatment some were given and they rose up in number and spoke, maybe not in a way you or I would want but they made the powers to be tremble. Now we have to find a way back to center ground and some of those that were enraged are probably headed there also, when enough of us get around to making sure we have the best candidates running next time around who will tend to the business of the city without worrying about their own next big deal or the color of the constituants skin. For the most part the people of Hondo are good hard working people who honor America and want the best for everyone and they will speak loudly now that they know it is necessary to protect their way of life

Too all HONDO will always be that way we can get upset and say things but things will never change. I'm from San Antonio but have lived in HONDO since I was 7. Yes Im hispanic too ok. Anyway, Hondo is a crapy town all they do there is bring down the MEXICANS or HISPANICS. We are the majority there and we have been fighting this for a very long time. So to all get out just as I did cause no one is listening to us anymore. If they cared they would have done the changes along time ago.
