This is BS, little twerp keeps getting off the hook b/c of Mommy. She puts people in jail for a living, always going for the maximum sentence. But when little Wesley comes around.... Whatever. What goes around comes around and this fking brat has a lot coming to him.

So does his mommy. Wesley will probably get off again. When he was trying to get his arrest records expunged I made an open records request for his records which was immediately met with a huge brief to the Atorney General to block release of his records by Bandera's finest hired attorney George Hyde. Wesley's attorney wrote a brief also. I never got the records and now they are expunged. His attorney or his mommy or both said he was just trying to rid himself of childhood baggage. You know, the kind of baggage all young people have right, dope, trespass,DWI,burglarizing a business and unlawfully carrying a fire arm and no one knows what else was hidden from the public.
Justice in Bandera County don't you know.
We need to unite this time and make sure he doesn't get off.

Incredible is that this County Attorney Kerry Schneider has been plea bargaining her way through court for a long time. DWI/DUI are seldom prosecuted. They are openly changed to "blocking a public roadway" which Schneider says is the same penalty which is a lie. One DWI/DUI carries progressively stiffer fines and penalties to just keep your drivers license while the other doesn't. BWI boating while intoxicated is changed to "blocking a public waterway".
There is no way to see prior DWI/DUI or BWI on most of these records. So the revolving door goes around and around. It seems the state gets the majority of fines unless you turn it into a lesser crime, fine the hell out of them and then hook them for as long as possible on probations or deferred adjudication.
The Sheriff's son as well as Schneider's son have both been able to take advantage of this kind of Plea bargaining. Imagine that!!

Responding in someone elses name should be against the law. I know Schneider and as much as I hate what she does and stands for that comment in her name was un-called for and over the top.
Lets keep the discussion alive so as many people as possible can see exactly where this goes. Making fun of the situation turns people away and they loose interest. Please don't cheapen it.

Thank you Roger for not letting this thing die. I agree it is time for Wesley to pay his due before he end up dead or killing someone. Mommy needs to quit bailing him out and quit judging and sentencing our children when she has a child who is constantly in trouble. Ask Ms. Schmeider
how many times she has called for help because of little Wesley scaring and threathening her.

Bobbie, our last Sheriff told me that Wesley was on one of his sprees when he took a vehicle that didn't belong to him, got a gun, one of the charges recently expunged from his record and was supposedly trying to find his mommy to shoot her. For Kerry Helgren Schneider to keep getting him out of trouble is beyond belief after what she has seen he is capable of doing. But I believe it is in fact her behavior that is causing the problem. The more he gets away with the more bold he becomes.

I just checked with the Bandera County Jail and Wesley Schneider is out of jail. Makes me feel so safe. No details available but I will keep you posted.

Do you know when he was released? How much was his bond and who paid it?

He was released sometime last Friday.
I have no idea if a bond was even involved.
I was told he pled no contest to the assault by contact charge (Bandera Police witnessed him with his hands on the woman) was given a two-hundred dollar fine and was released for time served. His criminal trespass charge has been referred to the County Plea Bargainer, huh Attorney herself. Yes you guessed it Wesley's Mommy. She should request a special prosecutor maybe someone like Therese Huntzinger who will possibly refuse to prosecute Wesley like she did last time Wesley was in trouble ie: drug paraphernalia,driving and drinking, open container, possession of marajuana, and crossing the double yellow line and running off the shoulder but no the DPS troopper had no probable cause to stop poor young Weslry Schneider. After all he was comming home from a party at 2:30 am and was with in miles of Kerry Schneider's house when this big mean DPS trooper stopped him with no probable cause.
The Trooper should be thanked because while the charge didn't stick he stopped a drunk driving, dope smoking potential killer from ruining someone else's life that night.

The press in Bandera County like to keep many newsworthy stories quiet. Which is really quite a shame. Small town communities like to protect the locals and spare their friends from embarrasment and ridicule when they make bad decisions. Even when those decisions present a danger to the community. I think that some of these papers are also worried about whistle blowing and retaliatory action from government "actors" that gallop and parade around Bandera County. There are laws that protect whistle blowers and the press.
