I know Billy and I can tell you that I know Billy feels awful for what happened and he wishes a 101 times that he would've never went out that night and he also has a son that is 3, that he will probably never see again, I feel for Curtis' family and friends, but I also feel awful for Billy's son due to he will probably never see his daddy again, I am not making excuses for Billy, due to I know what it is like to loose someone to a drunk driver, and we don't think it could ever happen to us til it does and then it hits home.
did u loose the man u were gonna marry? did u loose the man u were gonna have kids with? if u did then MAYBE u feel my pain, but judging by how u didnt sound very upset then im guessing u didnt!!! he was great, he was just gettin back on track and goin to college to make something of himself...but that got taken away!

For all of you that are assuming that my family and I are not upset about what happened I want to say you must be very young and ver immature so "GROW UP", we are all feeling emotional and we are all feeling pain and remorse for what happened on both sides of the fence so before you or anyone else starts assuming that we are not feeling your pain, well think again. You don't know me, but if you must know so you will shut up about Billy, I lost my boyfriend in a motor cycle accident 11 years ago, so I do feel you pain.

I do not wish Billy dead nor do I wish for him to spend the rest of his life in prison, but I do hope that Billy receives counseling and I hope he gets help not just for the family, but for himself, Billy does not remember what happened that night, but I can tell you that he is reliving that night every night when it is time for him to go to sleep, all he knows is what he saw on the news the next morning, so for all of you blaming my brother, why don't you blame Twin Peaks Rest/Bar. due to there the ones that kept serving him drinks.

I think that everyone here can make the rude and snood comments about each other all day long and twice on sunday. But the main fact is that Curtis lost his life because Billy decided he was making the right desicion. This billy person needs help!!!! He obviously showed that by not thinking of the circumstances of driving while intoxicated. Not only is he resposible for Curtis's Death but so is Twin Peaks for serving him alcohol after he was intoxicated. Everyone talks about him having a 3 year old son. Well my opinion (that I am entiltled to) is that he didn't give a damn about his son either. Cause if he did he would have never got behind the wheel of that truck. I am not here to bash no one. that is not my style at least not behind their backs. But I am here to remind people that yes Curtis did loose his life and the person responsable for that is behind bars. Me as a family member will do as much as I am capable of doing to ensure that both parties are seen to be at fault. And with that I will ALWAYS LOVE AND MISS U CURTIS. U WILL FOREVER BE IN MY HEART AND MIND. AND YOU KNOW WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THAT. NO ONE, I MEAN NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT AWAY!!!!

He did meet a friend and his younger our younger brother there that evening, The bar was also serving my younger brother alcohol also, and beleive me I did ask the question to his friend and my our younger brother, " Why didn't you all take his keys and my younger brothers response was that he was in no condition to drive either and I asked his friend the same question and his response ticked me off his suppose friend stated that my brother Billy was not his responsibilty, which is BS due to it was his friends idea to meet at Twin Peaks my younger brother isn't even legal age to be drinking, but I don't want you to think that I am defending my brother, nor am I making excuses for what I happened I just want you to know that I regret.

You are all just listening what the Det. is telling you all, I know most of the story then what you are all hearing, my brother is suffering from depression, and so his friend and my younger brother decided to make a stupid choice by asking my brother Billy to meet him and his friend at the bar my brother Billy had been at the bar since 6:00pm Wednesday evenening and we have received reports that this rest. and the bartender have been in trouble before for serving over the limit and breaking Texas liquor laws, and also serving minors, she didn't card my younger brother, nor did she attempt to card him before serving him liquor. Once again I am not making excuses for what my brother Billy did I am just trying to let you know that the Twin Peaks rest. is just as of much fault as my brother, and I can promise you this if I would've been there I would have not let him drive that night, I am so SORRY that this happened, and it sickens me to know that my brother killed a young man, because I know Billy, and I know that he will never be able to look at himself in the mirror.

This is such a horrible tragedy! I hope that every young person that knew Curtis or Billy can learn what can happen if you drink and drive. Most all of us have been there and we've been lucky. This wasn't done on purpose; it was a horrible accident. I'm sure Curtis was a fine young man. Billy is one as well and I know he wishes he could relive that day. Everyones life has changed because of this and I hope that everyone can eventually heal.

RIP Curtis

,
Christina, I do feel your pain and I do understand, my daughter was killed last Oct by a hit and run driver... I am so sorry for you and your family. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. The only thing that has helped with our pain was therapy and holding each other close. We still have bad days, but there are a few good days in there too, I know you dont believe me, but laughter and talking about him will really help.
