Democratic Governor Gray Davis was the major contributing factor by refusing to pursue the appeal in regards to Proposition 187 and by increasing export trade with Mexico. At least the voters had enough sense to recall him...just not soon enough.

Davis also make a devils agreement with the Prison Guards Union which resulted in our cost per prisoner of $49,000 while FL costs $19,000.
No other State's citizens make such tragic political choices. No other State majority is so quick to embrace disgrace and wallow in failure from those they entrust with political power from their own Party.
