While I am sure that somewhere a family member or longtime friend might enjoy this snippett of a story, I can't see the point of printing it in a newspaper.
Is the Headlight that depserate for filler material? If so how about printing something half way intersting? Maybe a historical story about Deming or Luna County? Im wondering if maybe someone from the paper just overheard part of a conversation at the senior center and printed half of it.

I thought the article was nice. It's good to see just a story once in awhile instead of all the bad news and politics.
