Wally Mart in Bainbridge is a classic example of "be careful what you wish for, you might just get it" We were all sick of K-Mart and WM was our savior. We whined and pleaded until we got one. Now it is the center point of all the little wannabe thugs and poor service--just like K-Mart was. Go to Dothan or Tallahassee to Wal-Mart--like going onto a different world. Bdge store is poorly stocked, dufus workers and check-out-----slow as Christmas. I don't go there unless emergency.

I was just talking about this with someone. They have all those lanes and workers who are trained to work them and they NEVER have more than a couple open at a time. Even on busy holidays like Christmas they don't utilize them all! It's beyond ridiculous.

They have too many thugs joy walking the store cursing and stealing. Too many thieves are hanging in the parking lot. It is slowly becoming a hang and for teenagers. I try to go around 8 in the morning to avoid this mess. Most the boogers are sleeping then.

I like walmarts prices. the only way to keep the prices is to not have as many employees. So quit shopping there if you want to complain. Go and pay higher prices so you can save 5 min at checkout.

What do you expect, it is the employees that make a store. I have talked to a couple of good employees about the stock situation. They say that the back is full of stock but it doesn't get put out on the shelves.

I get some of the poorest service in Bainbridge (at the big businesses) because of the sorry employees. This town has too many people who feel like they are owed everything and don't have to work for a living even when they have a job.

If you don't want to work step away from the job and let somebody have it that needs it and is willing to work hard to earn a living.

I only had one bad experience there whan an employee would not stop talking on a cell phone when I needed help, and sometimes the shelves do not have a brand I buy ... aside from that, I really don't have any complaints about it. Lines are bad sometimes, but that is to be expected with the volume of customers there. We get a lot of out of town shoppers, I noticed from the tags in the parking lot. I feel more secure shopping there tha a lot of other places thanks to all of the security cameras aimed at the parking lot. And no, I have no relatives who work there. I just find it a convenient and easy place to shop most times.

. I like walmart. I like shopping there. I was there last night and they had 4 lanes open and 10 cashiers walking around with their thumbs up their a###. I don't know why they at least can't leave the self check outs open.

For some reason getting good service is hard to find in Bainbridge I guess its because they are having to work and are not allowed to sit on their butts and draw welfair. Go to Talahassee, Dothan or anywere and its better. This town is getting kind of slumy. I have worked my whole work of age life and have never minded working.

I remember when it first opened - happy, motivated employees and fully stocked shelves. Clean, bright, and airy. Now??....not so much.

I fault management - it's their job to see shoppers have a rewarding experience with fully stocked lines of merchandise and a clean inviting store. All employees need motivation, and few managers have the skill set necessary to make workers want to get out and do really good work.

Shelves unstocked means the management IS NOT doing it's job.Partly it is WalMart's corporate management training that's at fault, as well as the insistane on making target store sales numbers. When your goal is making the P/L numbers turnout right rather than catering to your customer base you have a problem.

Granted the economy is bad, but that's no excuse for poor service and selection in your store. And the facility looks dingy.

I still shop there - lots of prices are very competitive. But I don't make it my one stop shopping experience anymore. The variety is no longer there.

biggest problem i got is yes the lines.. sometimes they have bunch most time when there isnt alot of shopper but when it does have a bunch they dont have many lines open at all.. and the other thing is they never seem to have the same thing stocked each time i go inthere.. they'll have something once and when it leave there is no telling when you'll see it again..

Wow the store used to be great when it first open. Of course it was, now the store manager is Roy Oliver, a man who refuses to support a local benefit event for a man whos son is dying, but gives a good looking female fifty dollar gift card because she had to return a riding toy.
I personaly watched him throw a man out of the store who was returning an item he bought for his daughter on Christmas Eve. Roy calls the guys wife a liar then when the guy gets upset he kicks the guy out and refuses to echange the toy. I did my homework on that one, the guy went over his head and got it replaced. I also saw him do the same to an elderly black woman.
He is a horrible manager. They have lost great managers due to him. He openly has affairs on his wife with employees.
If Walmart doesnt get him out of this store, he will single handedly kill it. He doesnt care how the employees act work or look. Hes the reason the store is like it is. And the way his little puppet security guy works, you know the miniture body builder, about 5 ft 3. They work together at tricking folks and wrongfully arresting people, and sit back while thugs are stealing shit all day. The Managment needs to completely revamped. Screw Roy and his little puppet. Kyle and John ran the store way before these clowns arrived anyways. It makes me want to vomitt when I see his picture on the counter. Haning on the isle after youve been in line for thirty minutes and ten more minutes watching them treat a pregnate woman like trash because she got a pictured item that WIC covers but walmart wont allow it to go thru Lack of doing their job putting them in the system. You see his picture and a false statement saying how Roy is dedicated to making your shopping experience great and fast WHAT A JOKE. Fire Roy, Fire mini Hulk, and keep Kyle, and Kelly the night time do it all lady. Walmart would be great then.

I agree with poor customer service. They have several self check-out counters but everytime I go, they are not working. One cashier at pharmacy entrance, next cashier way down where you purchase cigarettes, and the next one at grocery exit. Being disabled with difficulty walking long distances, I try to enter near where I am shopping and not use wheelchair so others even more less fortunate can use them but it never fails that I end up having to go to the opposite end of the store for checkout. My last visit, one lady ahead of me had a problem (which she should have been directed to customer service area to solve because it related to a prior purchase where she did not get a discount for opening an account with walmart card or some bull like that but cashier leaves and after a couple of minutes comes back with 2 other cashiers to help her. I am told at this time to go to another register since this is going to take them several minutes. All cashiers and the customer were african american. Wonder if they would have taken all that time to help me? I'm sure I would have been told to go to customer svc. since I am white.

Obviosly your the person that he kicked out the store while either trying to return a stolen item or buying beer with WIC. I know Roy also and to try to degrade him or his wife and family is a insult. I would love to meet who ever you are and take a baseball bat to your gold teeth.
