Their prices are higher than Harveys, Grocery Outlet or Walmart. The new corporate structure cuts seasoned managers so that they can hire younger folks at minimum wage.

I would love to shop at Publix, but last time I checked, there wasn't one in town. If I have to drive to Th'ville or Tlh, I waste too much time and gas.

The is a 3% tax on groceries in Georgia, unless, of course, you are on foodstamps, then you pay for neither tax nor groceries and probably have the money to traipse up and down the highway to buy groceries.

That does bring up the need for another discount grocery store in Bainbridge.
I'd love an Aldi Store.

I am gainfully employed and pretty good with math. I know that it is at least 80 miles round trip to Tallahassee and my car gets better than 30 miles per gallon. That means with today's gas priced I would pay around 10 in gas. This in turn means I would have to spend over $300 in groceries to pay the amount of taxes compared to the gas to go out if town. By the way, I need no food stamps to live.

Don't like Winn Dixie much anyway! They put rotten fruit out and u go in there a week later and the rotten fruit has gotten worse . It's disgusting!! So they need to hire people who actually walk around and look at what is put out ..

And food stamp recipients get better food than me. I buy off brands. Not what I see in the EBT shoppers cart.
