I checked on the author of the study before I made my charge. Never married, no kids so wrong again. If you are trying to somehow get under my skin with your obsession with the other issue it won't happen. We aren't playing on a level field so get over it.
So nice of you to finally digress and admit publicly that I am superior. Thank you for finally coming to terms with that. Also why would you take ownership and assume I am singling you out to get "under your skin"? You obviously have some close ties to the high school football team and feel very passionate about it. I find that endearing and amusing. Maybe you need to get over it, of course I am saying that in nicest possible way.:)

Hey Old School, don't you think that spanking might be promoting violence? Those spanked kids will probably grow up to be wife beaters and child abusers.

Wow!!If I weren´t spanked, my IQ could have been higher? That I doubt. I think if properly interpreted, the data will only show that stupid kids tend to get spanked more. The problem with science today, especially the social sciences, is that it is being prostituted to justify social experimentation. Instead of searchng for truths, they approach science attempting to justify their foregone conclusions.

How many serial killers had a high IQ?

Children need to be tended to and cultivated by a caring adult in their lives. Parents primary role it to influence their children to act in a moral and ethical manner. Education should be a value in the home. Children have problems when they are neglected by parents that are more concerned with themselves and their problems. If after time has been spent with a child and the rules have been laid down then a spanking is perfectly o.k. If you neglect your children expect them to act out!
