Poor Brad's monthly income has been cut in half! Poor thing! Hope he can manage to survive off a meesly $10k instead of his $20k monthly!
The Trustee is trying to sell the Martins old wore out plane and has been offered $90k for it. One of the offices that Martin Family owns located in the Callahan Building, was leasing to TMT for $1800 a month and TMT was responsible for the taxes and insurance and any liabilities. The Trustee is now rejecting this. He will soon reject the lease on the other properties that Martin Family Group were making a killing on, at the expense of the Investors!
Sure Investors knew it was not insured or guaranteed investments but they weren't making any money at the banks. The company had been around for many years and were staying in compliance with the SEC. From the beginning, the company paid what they said they would pay, even as much as 10.07 APY. After the death of the founder, the company began to decline. The economic situation was only an excuse. Money went missing faster than it was being deposited. Statements were delayed and checks for payment were delayed until there was no more money to pay with. Investors money was being used to buy cars and finance them at Best Buy not to mention the $72k paycheck BB received.$13 mil a year in arrears for the last 3 years. But BB and the heirs continued getting increases and bonuses. There will be a day of reckoning!

The Bankruptcy Trustee has petitioned the court to:

Sell off "certain consumer credit accounts, notes, receivables, security instruments, insurance policies and other ancillary products owned by Best Buy Autos of Bainbridge Inc." to DealerIndustry.com , LLC, a Florida limited liability company, d/b/a Automotive Capital Corporation ("Automotive Capital")

He has asked the court to approve an expedited sale.

Why not sell off all the holdings including real estate to pay back investors.

I understand the real estate is held in a seperate entity that is believed to have no exposure to the bankruptcy.

Not if it can be proven the real estate was placed in that separate entity for the purpose of protecting it from the bankruptcy.
The Martin's had to know the company was insolvent and headed for bankruptcy for some time.
The Trustee has forensic accountants at his disposable. I hope they can drag everything the Martins and BB have.

the people who put their money in the tree were fine untill the tree died = when you invest in a company that pays high return check it out before you put in your money not after the fact this is what i did

This is not likely to happen. Seems the Martins and BB will continue their lives in wealth, compliments of all the investors who trusted and believed in the company. The company became insolvent the minute $45mil was taken out and put in a trust with all the documents sealed and noone has requested for the file to be opened, which would show where the money came from.

If the few ruthless people involved in this current scandal, had as many dicks sticking out of them, as they have tried to stick in their customers, they would look like a porcupine!
