what religious affiliation are you looking for? The First United Methodist Church has a Contemporary Service at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings that I hear is a pretty laid back atmosphere. You might want to check that out.

To answer your question friend, no, you won't find such a place. Not in bainbridge. I do believe good churches exist, but Bainbridge is the farthest thing from a non-judgemental town you can find. I was called a goth in church simply because (even though i was dressed in nice clothes) i had long black hair. I thought that to be quite weak.

You should visit Grace Church. People of all kinds attend and its an awesome place to Worship. You can wear your jeans and sneakers, drink coffee have long hair of any color, or no hair at all. Service is held in the gym at 10:30.

I agree whole heartedly in Bainbridge people judge you by the way one looks your family or friends without learning anything about you.
They listen to all the gossip and rumors that everyone seems to love to spread. And no one believes someone can change either.

The Methodist Church's contemporary service is amazing and seems to fit your criteria... just depends on your religious affiliation. They also have a great youth program.

Yes Evangel Tempel assembly Of God, we all and it does not matter how you dress what color your skin, or what your last name is. The people there are all loving welcoming souls who do not judge a person on how he looks or the past. If someone has treated somebody wrong because of long hair then they dont need to see Jesus he had long hair as well as paul. In fact Jesus never had fancy clothes either so I guess if they are juding someone on all that the are Judging the Son of God as well. Evangel Tempel services start at 10:30 on sundays and 6pm sunday night then 7 pm on Wednesdays. I hope to see some new faces there on Wednesdays

Here's the thing, it's NOT about impressing the people in the congregation. It's about worshipping the Lord and he doesn't care what you wear. Church is for ALL us sinners and if some folks there are judging others, they need to be there for sure. Pray for them to hear the message the day the preacher delivers a sermon on Judgement and Who will deliver it.

We are all God's children and He loves all of us. A Godly church will welcome you and not judge. As stated, go there to hear from God through the Pastor, and not just for the ocngregation. The people there that are true Christioans will accept you and love you and pray with you. God bless you. You will be in my prayers.

Realreal, come on, are you serious? I said it's weak that people judge in the church. Get your head out of your butt and read. But anyway, back on topic. I think God is in the heart, and churches should help you improve your relationship with god. Bainbridge doesn't seem to have any, but don't quote me on that.

you should be able to attend any church in town without having to worry about your wardrobe. if people are there just to talk about who is wearing what then they are in church for the wrong reasons. if you came dressed as Jesus some Christians would still complain. Go to church in what you have in your closet. Praise God and go home! God could care less what you have on!

I agree that no one should avoid church or be made to feel their clothes are not good enough. But, this does not mean that it is okay to show up to worship the Lord in the same clothes you would cut grass in or go to Wal-mart in IF you have better.

This idea that I am supposed to be accepted in God's house any way I choose is an affront. Don't show up looking like you:(1) pulled your clothes out of the bottom of the dirty clothes hamper; or (2) just returned from the beach. Comb you hair. Brush your teeth. Wash and iron your clothes. Leave the camo/hunting clothes at home.
You are going to the Lord's Hose not Dollar General.

I got news for everyone worried about what they wear to church. IN THE END GOD WILL COME WHETHER YOU ARE NAKED OR DRESSED, DOESN'T MATTER!!!! HE LOVES ALL HIS CHILDREN NO MATTER WHAT!! He died on that cross to save us from our sins......... he wasn't worried if you had clothes on at the time, he only worries whether you are right in your heart and soul!!!! When you die you either go to hell or heaven, doesn't matter if you are in a thousand buck suit or a croker sac!!!!

Also, you don't go to church and worry about what others say or think of you.... you go for the WORD OF GOD, get what you can get out of it and do what's right with your life!!!! If you can help someone down the road of life, then WONDERFUL, that's what God expects us all to do anyways, that's the PLAN, help others, lead others to the FATHER!!!!!! LORD JESUS ALMIGHTY!!!! Doesn't matter if you are wearing speedos, whatever, just go to church to worship him and if people want to talk,,, what does that tell you about them right there.......... Think about it!!!!!

Love in Christ to all!!!!!

AND I MAY HAVE DID A TYPO OR TWO, BUT I WAS ON A ROLL HERE SO IDIOTS THAT DO THE GRAMMAR AND SPELLING CHECK, HAULT ON THIS ONE!!!!! LOL
