I don't know this Trooper personally but God help someone who runs from a road block and kills one of my family. Thank you for doing your job GSP Officer Landrum. I hope that you are there for the next one who runs and this WON'T make you hesitate. I am sorry for the woman who died and her family. SHE made a fatal decision.

If a kids steals a car and takes it for a joyride, then runs from the police like in a video game, that is the direct fault of the parent not teaching that child between the real world and the make believe.

Bullshit, it doesn't matter how well you raise a kid they are human and give in to peer pressure and are capable of making a bad judgment call spontaneously.

I had a friend and neighbor when I was 14 who backed the car out of the driveway when her mom and dad were in the bed one night and bumped into a tree and dented the bumper. She left the car sitting there and ran to my house and wanted me to hide her because she was ashamed of what she had done because she didn't want to disappoint her parents because she was raised knowing better than to do something like that. As irrational and scared as she was that night, if a cop would have tried to pull her over I think she would have been too scared to stop. By the way, she has a Doctorate and is a well paid professional now.

It doesn't matter how you raise your kids? Are you serious? I agree that they are human, but that is where my agreement with you comes to a halt. If you instill good habits in a child, they will show these good habits in society. Are there exceptions to this rule? Sure.. It is called being mentally unstable. Now whether they grow out of this mental instability is another issue all together.

Too many parents think they are being good parents simply because they assume they are. Most parent are not involved enough in their childs life to even know whether or not they would be prone to doing such actions as was described or not. If a child steals their parents car and takes it for a joyride, that is a clear sign of failed parenting OR a mental issue with the child.

Could the same thing be said for someone who grows up thinking sex is a pain in the but?

Obey the law. This is a tragedy, but had she gone through the road block, gotten her citation for driving AGAIN without a license, she would be alive today. The officer was only doing his job. Sorry for her family and children, but this is a fine example of OBEY THE LAW.

Rtw u make to many assumptions and you generalize every thing. You can read All the books you want to but you lack in real world experience. Idk but it may come from hiding behind a puter screen all day.

Really? How so?

You can't simply say I make assumptions without explaining how you come to that conclusion. You also can not ASSUME that I do not base my observations on real world experience. Maybe you should rethink your position a bit. It seems you are describing yourself more so than describing me.
