Your company sucks! Whenever there is an outage or issue, I call and it says no outage then I stay on hold for up to 2 hours. The minute the internet is back up, someone picks up the phone and asks if they can help me. Its ridiculous!

You do not get what you pay for. Main Street Internet up for 10 minutes, down for 5 minutes. In and out, in and out all day long. 59 bucks for that? A rip off...Not what they promised.

I have had them for 3 or 4 months I was told my bill would be 45. And that was with taxes I have yet to get a bill of any kind and I have no clue as to when my bill is due. My sister was using the internet and it would not work so I call turned out they had cut my service off so my mom paid it with my card being that I was out of town when I got back my bill cost me 66. Not 45. The next month rolled around still no. Bill and the service had been down more then up. So chick called very rude and said that my service would be cut off the next day if not paid so I paid again 66 dollars so I asked her about my plan being 45 she said it was plus this and this and this. So I let it go last month I called to pay my bill never had I got any bill. She told me it was late and that I needed to check my email. I let her know that it never came. The girl was very very rude so I asked how much to end my bill she said why you plan on canceling your service and laughed at me I said yes

I am switching to my local telephone company for my internet service. Mainstreet BB is a very unstable service. My service goes down ALL THE TIME. They flat out told me that they were not going to update our equipment in Brantley County. Why are they getting our funds? What are they doing with all this free money? I can tell you that they are not investing the money into their equipment...at least not in my county. I have had it with this hokie outfit. Time for me to switch back to BTC online.
My Advice...DO NOT USE MAINSTREET BB. It is a waste of your time and money. I will not support the next SPLOST VOTE. They need to use our money in a much more productive way!!! STOP GIVING THESE SCAMSTERS OUR KIDS MONEY!!

Worst experience EVER! I've had Mainstreet BB for about 6 months, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this to ANYONE, have constant problems with it being down, they will not respond to emails, they want you to call tech support, and walk you through all kind of test, just a waste of time, they then tell you that nothing is wrong on their end, it must be on my end, well after many complaints and threats for them to come and take their junk off of my house they finally sent out a tech, he told me that their having a "disassociation issue", and they don't have an answer to the problem, but they sure don't mind charging me full price for something that doesn't work 50% of the time, and I'm under contract with them, I would like to find out why our SPLOST tax dollars are paying for this rude, and worthless company???

I switched back to BTC Online. I get 6mbps for the same price that Mainstreet BB was charging me for 3mbps. And I never got close to 3 with mainstreet, it was more like 1.5mbps. A Mainstreet tech came out today to remove the old Trango equipment. PLEASE DO NOT USE MAINSTREET BB. The tech that came out told met that they would not be upgrading the equipment in Brantley County. So you can't even get their premium service.(which was down 50% of the time anyway) WHAT ARE THEY DOING WITH ALL THAT SPLOST MONEY? Should this business be investigated?
I would look into getting out of that contract. If they can't supply the service that they offered, I don't see how they can hold you to a contract that they seem to be breaking by not giving you the service they agreed to supply.

The fat bastard at the airport in bainbridge I nearly knocked his fat ass out in my yard he is a prick fat pig who sits down at the airport eating twinkies ..

When they come to install they did not even have the pole to install that little rinkie little box on .

They send out perverts that talk trash to any women who are at the home and talk sexual things that are not the type people I would trust with young girls around..

BTC Online is my local telephone company. Brantley Telephone Company. They have the best network in my County. I would check with your local telephone company to see what internet services they offer first, before signing any contracts with a (fly by night) outfit. As a small business, we saved money and got a much better product from BTC. It's much faster and never goes down. I also should mention how very courteous and knowledgeable the installation crew was.

Just like with any business there will be pros and cons when starting up. I have been a customer with Mainstreet BB going on 11 months and I have had some problems with them. To begin with I reside in Wayne county and had the dropping of service, which turned to be faulty equipment on their end. Well, after much hassle with rude "Tech Support" (And yes, the quotations are for their Tier 1 tech support who just reads from prompts) I eventually spoke with Randy Lindsey via email and telephone. I am very interested in this technology so much that I am pursuing a degree in Wireless Communications to one day get a job with a company deploying Wimax, but anywho after speaking with Mr. Lindsey we got the first problem situated. Now, this next problem is a definite problem on their end. I am experiencing SLOW download speeds, ranging from .50Mbps (512kbps) to .91Mbps (9131kbps) with steady uploads of 1.33Mbps. There is no USE to send one of the FEW uneducated "techs" out who know nothing of the technology the company has to offer because it is a problem on the providers side. This company's infrastructure is unprofessional, and it is obvious the ones in control have made a nice investment to get grants and federal money. I had Comcast until I lost my job and my bill got behind, but I am steady paying it back because with their DOCSIS 3.0 offering 50Mbps down and 10Mbps up, shoot, why leave home except to go to work? LoL! Mainstreet Broadband in my book is a LAST RESORT ISP!!! Only choose Mainstreet BB if it is your last option before choosing WildBlue or any other satellite internet provider which is more of a headache. T-Mobile is my cell phone provider and they have some great 4G coverage but not in my neck of the woods unfortunately. If I go to Glynn county I get 7Mbps down on average and 1.2+Mbps up via T-Mobile's HSPA+ 4G network.

The Mainstreet website offers virtually no information. They want you to call the number on the screen.
I did and the customer rep seemed to drone on and on about up-selling services tat I don;t want.
Why can't you give me what I ask for and be done?
The bill boards around town all have $19.99 on them in 3 foot tall letters, but the girl on the phone told me I was mistaken. Service here is $34.99.
I offered to take a picture with my phone and send it to her and she hung up.

Guess you don't want my business.
And, yes, I will be sure to tell everyone I know about the horrible customer service.

I saw those same advertisements in Brunswick,Ga for $19.99. The girl on the phone flat out lied to you when she that. However, if you look on the bottom of the signs that say $19.99, it says that it is for the 1st year only. Mainstreet BB is not a very professional business. Those $19.99 signs do exist and are very deceptive. Plus they tack on a modem rental. I used them for a bit, but switched back to my local telephone company....Better Service, Better Prices, & MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

mainstreet broadband is good service if you have no tree coverage and are in available area with the local towers. i know it use to start 24.99 a mth for a 1 mg plan 1 yr contract and yes they if bad weather you are r most likely to have no service. Yes the employees there think they r all better than everyone else. Especially there secretary in the office at 111 n west st, on the square oh no credit checks no deposts just 1st month due at time of installation. Why are people still using these people with so many problems going on. I have had it for a month now and have not been able to use it half the time! Always going in and out every five seconds its ridiculous. They will be fixing the signal or they can have it back contract or NOT! I will not pay for internet service that I cant use if the wind blows the wrong way! They are very deceiving and I am disgusted that Bainbridge has a business like this here!

I just cancelled service with Mainstreet finally. I have finally gotten my Comcast back lol. And, I got a newsletter tonight stating that one of MainStreet's strategic partners, NFBA(North Florida Broadband Authority) is under investigation by the Feds for mismanagement etc etc. This company is such a two bit operation that was founded by someone with some pocket change looking to make more. Hang it up, you are giving this technology a bad name in this area!
