What is the best church in Bainbridge?

West Bainbridge Baptist Church is a very good church. I have went there for over 20 years and have seen a lot of changes but the preacher we have now does not preach "at you" he preaches "to you". You can come as you are (as in clothes) and nobody will care, they will welcome you the way you are. One of the best part's of WBBC is there is no "Clicks/In Groups", everybody is treated the same but most of all you can "Feel GOD" there and I assure you, you will leave with a blessing.....

I would recommend that you use the complex mind that you were born with. If you want to change your lifestyle, or anything else within your life, well friend, that lies within you, and you alone. You do not have to go to brainwashing sessions three times a week, and put out hard earned money for this to happen.
Bottom line, if you want to help yourself, do it with logic, not the invisible man theory. Remember, religion equals big bucks and big life styles. If you don't believe it, do a little research.

But this must be one of those Scott sisters, seeing as one of them own a tanning salon ( and she seems to be the niceone) And if so don't get on here and talk about how nice people are there or how there are no clicks! You are some of the biggest problem starters and bossiness this town has pleasure of having (joke). I advise to skip this church unless you want all of your business all over town spread by none other than your fellow church members!!! I would recommend skipping this one!! And I hate to say that but I would hate for anyone else to be a victim of their behavior!!

If you're looking for god, you aren't going to find it in any church. Especially the churches around here!:)

If you know the story behind LifeStream, I would go there.

The pastor has been pastoring without pay since he got there. That, to me, speaks volumes. To have someone handle that day in and day out, counseling, trying to help people, and all without pay...

Tell me where else in Bainbridge you will find that. One of the things about LifeStream is the family mentioned earlier are seeking others to become a part of it, they are looking to expand things beyond that but they came together to start it because of a calling and there has been so much division among churches in Bainbridge. They have hearts for God, and are honest about the struggles they face. They are genuine and I like that about Life Stream. Before implying random statements as someone above has, with LifeStream, these people are genuine. They give their time and energy and devotion to trying to make a difference in town and pray for it. Speaking of how people treat you at church and then in public, you need to take a look at some of the people at Grace. They are doing good things there, but there are some that are sweet to you at church and snooty around town with no compassion, albeit at a certain college in town.

One thing, too,... It doesn't matter what the color of your skin is there either. They are breaking that mold and shattering the segregated church status in town.

Just so that people know.. the pastor owned his own electrical company in Indiana and packed it up and moved to Bainbridge because he felt God called him to do it. He moved on faith. His business was thriving before he did, but he said no to his business and the income and moved to a place where industry is leaving without a job in hand and three kids that came with him which have now all moved off, one to the military who was on TV going through SEAL training, the other saved up his own money to go a christian music school in Australia, and the oldest is in college, as well.

I would be careful to be critical of anyone with that kind of faith and dedication. God honors that kind of commitment.

It is small. I agree. Then again so was a church in Cairo that started years ago and is now on Hwy 84 as you come into town and it started with family, but a family that loved God and the place where they ministered.

I look for Life Stream to continue to grow as more people come to know about the freedom that the Spirit of God has in that place.

The best "church" is the mosque in Tallahassee. All you heathens are invited to worship Allah there. When the caliphate is successful we will remember who was with us, and who was against us.

Are you people just not seeing what this entire site is about. Coming onto a site like this to find out anything about anybody or anything is just crazy. With the crap and the lowlife's throwing their crap out, you are asking for trouble when you do. If you want to find a church, float around on Sunday's and check them out for yourself. Everybody's church is the best in their opinion and you need to experience it yourself which one suits you. And talk to the members and see what they have to offer. Do that instead of feeding the idiots and giving them ammunition and the opportunity to throw out their filth.

There are much easier methods to check out churches besides using a site like this. If there are mature people on this site, they are few in number. It is hard for me to believe a person would be looking for a church using this site.

If you think this is a mature site, just search the word GOD and check out the topics on him.

The only church you need is already inside of you .. the Kingdom of God is within us. Find a quiet place to talk to your God on a daily basis and whenever you feel the need for guidance and listen to the still small voice within your heart. I firmly believe He hears and answers our prayers, and it does not matter to Him how you find your way to Him, as long as you do so.
You do not need organized religion to tell you how to worship God and serve your fellow man, really. He is everywhere and all around us, not in a church made by man.
He sitteth in your soul.
Be careful of this type of talk. Most of the books of the New Testament are letters written to churches. I can tell that you are a person that does not attend church nor know your Bible. Christ died for the church. Note: He added to the church. Note: He said I will build my church. Love ya. But make sure you know what your saying. If the church is that important to God then it should be important to us as well. Pray and God will lead us to the right church. True Gospel Baptist should be considered and I heard that Trinity Baptist has a good new pastor as well as Morningside.

CHRIST DIED FOR THE CHURCH!? Do you really believe that? Please tell me what church you attend so I don't bother to go there.

I have just formed a new church in Bainbridge. There are no requirements like giving or attendance. You can do whatever you want and feel good about yourself. You can be a drunk, have sex with who ever you want, and whatever else you want to do. You only live once. I already have most of Bainbridge as members. Come join us.

Mars Hill Christian church in Vada ( just outside of bainbridge) is on fire for God!!!:). The people out there are amazing as well. Just a simple country church that is growing in people and God every time the doors are open. They make you feel at home and never judge you!!!
