If you don't mind a small church then i would suggest Life Stream ministries. I have become a member there and i will be completely honest when i say that i have never felt more co to fetermine on your comfortable or at home in a church than i have here. Everyone is so warm and friendly and there hasn't been a service pass that i didnt feel god moving through me. I have attended several SEVERAL here in town since childhood, but like said I feel "at home" here and it just feels right. That's a decision you will ultimately have to make on your own, but this one spoke to my heart :)

Well just be careful. That place like many othes in town is operated by "Family Only" STAFF not to mentnion there are a few other issues that right away threw a red flag for me. Pay attention how they treat you outside of church and most importantly how they act outside of church. I never take part in churches that live one way on Sunday then on Monday are another.
Just be careful in choosing churches in this small area because if your not careful you will end up in a church full of fakes. Take precaution and get to know the people on staff and in ministries snce these people will be hands on with you and your family. Do some searching trust me the last thing you want to be a part of is lies and seeds to adulteris or worst.

The only church you need is already inside of you .. the Kingdom of God is within us. Find a quiet place to talk to your God on a daily basis and whenever you feel the need for guidance and listen to the still small voice within your heart. I firmly believe He hears and answers our prayers, and it does not matter to Him how you find your way to Him, as long as you do so.
You do not need organized religion to tell you how to worship God and serve your fellow man, really. He is everywhere and all around us, not in a church made by man.
He sitteth in your soul.

first of all it's not about what chruch is good (but than again i guess it is) because all chruchs aren't the same try some chruchs out and in my opinion if you or your heart leads you there stay there if not go to another one there is a chruch for you if you are faithful to god pray he will lead you to the right one

Grace Church is a great place! It is very open and welcoming. They also have a wide variety of people at different stages in life. The common thread bringing them together is a desire to know God more.

Bob, if you're looking to get lost in the crowd, try one of them big fancy churches, with all the rich folks ya know, but if you want a church "family" and feel like your filled seat means something, try a little country church I recently found out in the boon docks of faceville. Franklin..wonderful..truly family oriented. Lots of farmers but I don't know when I was so sweetly welcomed. A revival this week even...so you really should check it out. Any questions let me know...much love.

Are you sure you want to be asking people on topix about what church to attend. I mean, look at the filth that goes on around this web sight.
Good luck with the search!

Then why are you seeking guidance from this sorry site. You are probably trolling and trying to stir up some crap.

Why so cynical, Bocephus and io_oi?
Not every one who comes here is a bad person, I can assure you. It is wise to not generalize anything until or unless you have ALL of the facts, and I do not think that is the case in the present instance.
True, there are some who come here to "troll" and cause harm but you know how karma works, right?
If people throw out ugliness or evil, they will get it back again, and a lot worse usually. It is best just to ignore the bad things and praise the good things; you can't change anyone any way, so you might as well just set about being as good an example of what a good person should act like and hope that your good behavior rubs off on the bad ones.
At least, that is one person's opinion, at any rate (mine) for what it's worth.

i would recommend grace church. it has a laid back atmosphere, people of all ages and walks of life, and a common bond of wanting to serve God and draw closer to HIm and other believers. The worship is truly powerful and Pastor Andy speaks straight from the Word. they also have a great setup for kids. You will definitely be welcomed and treated like family from the minute you walk in!
