$2,100 in restitution!! I can't believe that! Just think of the lives
& livelihoods affected by this..........seems to be worth more than a measly 2ooo bucks? Even though I have noticed how our postal employee's have went from a group of uniformed professional looking individuals to a bunch of slobs this surely takes the cake..........Somehow this don't seem like much of a punishment..........

Unbelievable! She should be cooling her heels in a prison cell! She must know the judge.

You people don't know what you're talking about. Probation is very common for this offense.

If Ms. Greene didn't want to continue delivering the mail, she should have just turned in her notice. We don't need people like her working with the mail. She obviously didn't take the job too serious.

J. Ronnie Greer was appointed to the bench in 2003 by George W. Bush after a lengthy career as an attorney and a legislator. As a legislator, he was concerned with environmental issues and was one of the prime movers in the Solid Waste legislation. As an attorney, he focused on criminal defense and personal injury cases.

So that makes it right? You've GOT to be a relative, or the perp herself. She's no better than a common criminal, but few of them get paid a good hourly wage while commiting their crimes. Her salary was paid by us, the public, and if it were my mail she threw away, I'd be suing her lying, cheating a**. Shame on her AND the judge.

I never said it was right but my opinion has no bearing on the original rebuttal.... which was that she must've knew the judge. I was just pointing out that probation is common for this offense.

That's awful. She'd rather pay the rent on storage units than do her job?! What the heck....I'd be interested to hear why exactly that seemed like a good idea to her, and what she was doing with all the free time that NOT delivering the mail afforded her.

She was probably out somewhere enjoying her 23.00+hour wage. I know someone who works for the postal service and know for a fact that this person makes over 24.00 per hour. I also know that there are alot of slackers who work there as well and also make this kind of money.

I know for a fact that you're an idiot if you think a mail carrier makes 24 dollars an hour. You might be right about slackers or whatever but don't spread the falsehood that mail carriers make that kind of money. They don't.
