I am appalled by what I have heard about Timothy Grindstaff, a Washington County Tn school teacher. It is my understanding that the Papa John's employee (Timothy Grindstaff attacked) was severely beaten and I have heard from PJ's employees that Grindstaff kicked this person in the face knocking out his teeth. Timothy Grindstaffs actions are criminal and the Washington County school system is incompetent if they do not fire this violent man. He is obviously a disturbed man that is not fit to be around children. His out-of-control temper and vigilantly ways are not what I want in a teacher in my county. I totally understand parent's concerns about Timothy Grindstaff's violent temper, and I would not allow any child of mine to go to a school where this teacher is allowed. I hope the court system will do something about this but I have little faith in our local judiciary system. In fact, I personally believe the local judges in this area are a criminal best friend and a defendants worse enemy. Lets all hope a decent judge will do something about this vicious attack. My heart and prayers go out to the victim of this crime and I pray he gets out of the hospital soon and is not scared as severely as what I have been told.

I am amazed Timothy Grindstaff is not in jail, and I am even more amazed that the Washington County School Board is standing behind him. He should be fired and jailed.

Timothy Grindstaff was wrong for attacking a young man that was only trying to etch out a living making pizzas. I am amazed that Grindstaff is already trying to pretend he has the right to attack whoever he wants. What is up with the fools on the School Board endorsing Grindstaff???? Lets get a new school board and some less violent teachers!

Why would an educated man plan an attack on another person just a few hundred yards from a school? I'll tell you my opinion. He is obviously unfit to be around people. Only an insane person would kick a young mans's teeth down his throat and break his nose and other injuries not suitable to mention. The only one more insane than Timothy Grindstaff is the school board for not having the balls to fire this unfit teacher. What is up with the school board this poor pizza guy did nothing to Grindstaff? I will contact every national news media I can over the next week, so be ready David Crocket High officials to explain yourself. PROTECT THE CHIDREN-GET RID OF "THE CRAZY MAN"

He is by no means crazy just doing what any parent would do in this crazy world. Anyone who thinks that something should be done to him is either not a parent or the brother,sister or parent of the poor child who was messing with his children. I had Mr. Grindstaff at David Crockett High School! He is an excellent teacher and i garantee any student you ask will have only good things to say about him. He is protective over his daughter, thats a good thing! What would you do? Ya he got the wrong guy but not purposely. He made a big impact on my life and i hope he continues to do the same for other students.

I hope, I do not know any people “like you” who thinks it's okay to attack people if you suspect they have done something wrong to your family. Lets get the facts straight for starters. He was not protecting anyone, if a crime had happened to his family, it was not during the time of his attack on the innocent pizza guy. And I believe you are not sane if you think was he did was okay? He attacked a poor young man that did nothing to him or his family and hopitalized him for a week. And you think this is this is acceptable behavior and nothing should happen. What if he would have attacked you and kicked out your teeth, broke your nose, etc.... I bet you would feel different then you should think before you write. This is a job for the police to handle in a civilized society this isn't the wild west! No parent or person I know would attack another human being in the way your guy did.

How stupid are you?????????? Grindstaff was not protecting anyone. His family was in no danger. He attacked and beat an innocent person because he is sick. Too many times a punk thug has hurt a child, and the Father is no where to be found, or too afraid of being prosecuted. I KNOW THE JUSTICE SYSTEM IN WASHINGTON COUNTY IS A JOKE, BUT YOU HAVE TO LET THEM RUN THEIR COURSE. THEN BE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT PERSON BEFORE YOU BECOME JUDGE, JURY AND HANGMAN. IF MR GRINDSTAFF'S DAUGHTER WAS UNDER AGE AND THE MAN THAT WAS MESSING WITH HER WAS AN ADULT. MAYBE HE NEEDS TO LOOK CLOSER AT WHAT HIS CHILD IS DOING IN HER SPARE TIME. FROM WHAT I HEAR THE WAY MR GRINDSTAFF LOOKS THE GIRLS OVER AT SCHOOL IS NOT PROPER FOR AN ADULT IN CHARGE OF THEM.
