I have several buddies coming down to the lake for a bachelor party. Will be going to the party cove one day and maybe to a few bars. Any recommendation as to the bars we should go to? Also, I hear Backwater Jacks is the place to eat? Last question, what mile marker is the party cove near by? Thanks for the help and I can't wait for our trip.

Party Cove is at the 4 Mile Marker of the Grand Glaize Arm of the lake. Anderson Hollow Cove (Party Cove) is found by passing under the Grand Glaize Bridge, where US Highway 54 crosses the lake in Osage Beach. There usually are a large number of boats to follow to Party Cove, just join the armada. Take it slow, there is a speed limit posted. Have a designated driver -- the water patrol is looking for drunk boat drivers.

Backwater Jacks is good. Dog Days is also a good eating and drinking place just north of Grand Glaize Bridge. Other good places are Paradise, Captain Ron's and Captain's Galley. All places mentioned here can be reached by land or water.

Night time activities can include Eclipse gentlemans club (I did it at my BP, good time), Topsider on Friday night and Horny Toad on Saturday are good too.

we will be at the lake July 24 & 25 and are staying at the Ledges. What are the closest bars and restaurants to us? by land?
