Scranton seeks state OK to use workers' comp fund savings as loan collateral
Scranton is seeking state approval to use city workers' compensation funds as collateral for a $5 million loan that would be a first installment toward paying the $22 million-and-growing arbitration judgment due the police and fire unions, a state official said Monday.

How about giving it to a woman's shelter or a homeless shelter???
Always someone wanting to get there own hands one the money.

When it comes to things that need to be ok'd law wise for peoples sake I don't see anyone pushing to get stuff ok'd but when there is money involved those people are the first to come crawling out of the cracks with there hands out.
Perhaps you thought it a good idea but shame be upon you!!!
If the money has to be spent do it on something for the people not your own corrupt and greedy interests
