North Mitchell County Elementary School completion date changes

At there September meeting, the members of the Mitchell County Board of Education were disappointed to learn that the new North Mitchell County Elementary School’s opening date would be later than the December 2009.
Architect Sonya Spralinger told the board that the decision to add a water tower resulted in the later completion date.
Problems with Baconton’s water system led to the need to build the water tower, resulting in the delay.
“I’m not happy with that [not being able to move in in December],” Chairman Joseph White said.
Spralinger said that the tower would be a six-month process from the time the contract was signed, after accepting a bid for the work. Board member Tholen Edwards requested that the water in Baconton be tested again. Edwards told the board that according to the last city meeting in Baconton the water issues should be cleared up.
Spralinger said that the problems they found were fixed but she didn’t believe that would correct the water pressure problem.
She and the interior designer on the project also brought bids to the board for the furnishings including desks, chairs, rugs, bleachers and other items.
The interior designer worked closely with Principal Jacquelyn White and her staff when choosing the furniture for the new school. The new school will feature complimentary paint choices on the doors, walls and furniture.
The board decided to review the bids before taking a vote that night. In other business, Principal Lynn Pinson of Baconton Community Charter School explained about the students that were not from the county that attended school. She said that these kids are grandfathered in because of having a family member that attended the school during the first two years when students could attend from other counties. She went on to say that no local funding is received for these students, just state funding. These students pose no cost to the county, Hinson added.

Hoyt Donley . (Brian Donley) been married to her since 2006. while she able find another employment a local school system.did like FARC Commender , Mr. Keith Stansell used to be a Fiancee to former Miller Countian Student and Spanish Teacher (Malia Phillips -Lee) ,is now married to another man .she is now a spanish Law firm in Thomasville.
