Well, I think she has reached the age of responsibility and she should know from right and wrong. She should be charged for murdering that child.

I hope that the justice system does not let this go unpunished. A 14-year-old is more than capable of making a decision not to kill someone. But let me guess, "she didn't mean it?' Whatever! That 12 year-old boy deserves justice. the young lady should be punished to the fullest extent of the law- as an adult.

This is so sad! These children are growing up in all this violence. So they too act like animals. Yes she definitely knew what she was doing. She evidently has some serious anger issues. And not only does she need to suffer the consequences she needs some mental help. To me it's really crazy that all these young kids can be so violent. Our kid's aren't safe playing with other kids. My family and I live in an apartment complex and it is ridiculous that us parent's have to sit outside with our kid's to keep the peace so that they can play. And here in this county we have had 10 and 11 year olds fighting over a toy and one of the girls went into their home got a knife came back and stabbed the other girl in the lower leg. PRAY PEOPLE AND PRAY HARD PLEASE! When our children aren't safe with each other things have become really out of control. Parent's if you think your child may have anger issues then get them some counseling and let a professional decide if they need extra help. There's no harm in it whats so ever.

No she didn't have the right to take the boys life and i feel for the boys parents. But who do we blame the childern? where were the parents? Who taught them right from wrong. did they have prayer in school ? how about some one to look up to? did she feel safe. Had the boy done something to her before this happened. was hate or rage ,depression, a factor? Look into your hearts that your God gave u, and that is what ever God u worship. most of then talk about forgiviness, love and compssion. Sure didn't read any here. a prayer for them both, may God have mercy on them. One is gone the other in jail,Neither one is going to have a life . Enjoy yours.

its sad to realize what today's youth is coming to. i belive every child that is old enough to know right from wrong should be punished accordingly. whether the crime they do is little or big they need to know it isnt right and there are consiquences to their own actions. yes this girl needs to be punished, and undergo evaluations to see just why she did it. yet putting her in an adult jail at 14 is only going to make her a victom of the justice system. put her in juvie until she turns 18, then put her in an adult jail for her adult crime!

Some of you make great points. I guess at this point we need to leave the judging to God. And at the same time we need to be praying for both the children as well as their families. We will never understand everything. It wasn't planned for us to. But we do have the great power of praying. Bless you all!

yours is the first to make a difference in the way we need to look at this. we can only do what is at hand, an prayer is are closest. as each child was born, an as their parents held each one ,They were the closest thing to God that they could hold, and now we need to lift each one up to God, for each one is a child of God. may God's blessing be found in this, for all to find peace. God bless our childern

Thankyou, P L Nester for your comment. It's nice to know that some of us can agree on this terrible tragedy. May God bless you too.

Yes she should be charged for what she did. Being charged with what she did is not only about punishment. It's about making her understand that what she did was horrible. And making her understand the pain she has caused everyone involved in this situation. And that there are consequences to committing a crime. And the sad truth is no that little boy can't be brought back or replaced. But now we must focus on the girl. I think that while she is receiving her punishment we need to find out what on earth made her do this. It could be so many things or a combination of things. She did this terrible crime. And the only way to help her is to find out what may have caused her to do it. Circumstances or Mental Illness? Certainly if it's mental illness she has alot of work to be done. And truthfully may never be 100% well. Therefore, never being released back into our public population. People just think if that had been your child that committed this crime how would you feel. I have two
boys at the ages of 11 and 18. I have raised them to do the right thing. But can't promise that they will. But if my 11 yr old did this (I WOULD NOT WANT HIM IN AN ADULT PRISON). What's that going to do? Nothing positive thats for sure. God Bless You All!

She intentionally murdered a child. That's a capital crime and she should be charged as an adult.
I don't want a girl that intentionally murdered at 14 on the street as an adult.

Do some of you not realize that she is a child too? YES she needs to be punished. But it is so much deeper than some of you see it. God bless that little boy and his family. And at the same time God bless that little girl and her family. ANALYZE THE ENTIRE SITUATION FROM BOTH SIDES! What if your child were put in a situation and something terrible came from it. How would you then feel? Things are done for a reason. And they need to be figured out in this situation for the girls sake. She doesn't just need punishment she also needs HELP.
