The parents of two Dickinson High School cheerleaders who were caught drawing swastikas on school property are upset about the girls' punishment.

If that was my daughter, I would have yanked her from the squad myself. They did not get anything more than a slap on the wrist. They are supposed to represent the school and be model citizens. They should have been expelled until next year along with the other punishments.

Maybe these girls, and their parents, should be required to browse such websites as Yad Vashem,or view film from the holocaust and the concentration camps. That would teach them a whole lot more than banning them from the cheerleading squad, and perhaps help them to understand that life has so much more value to it than being a cheerleader.

If they were not cheerleaders, I bet the punishment would have been much more severe. Sounds like favoritism.
They should have to do reports to the entire student body about the crimes of the holocaust.
