Officer Peter Figoski, who could have retired two years ago with a full pension, was pronounced dead at 7:17 a.m. at a hospital just hours after the shooting, authorities said.

ok once again another career criminal took the life of an innocent person. yes hes a cop but first and foremost he was a loving father, son, brother, coworker and friend to many. what a useless loss of life because some POS decided he had the right to rob someplace and make sure he got away by any means possible!!! probably feeling he had the right to take what wasnt his INCLUDING SOMEONES LIFE!!!! May this POS get whats comong to him. I hope right now him and the other three they caught this morning get there asses beat. i am sooooo sick of these F##king animals running around w/guns and trying to run the system!!! how many more innocent people have to die at the hands of these animal pigs!!!so sickening. RIP Officer Figoski and may God Bless The Figoski family at this difficult time.(and for those who plan on posting STUPID comments, try to refrain from it. after all someone died and they still have family. respect that and have a heart.

Somebody killed a policeman today, and a part of America died.
A piece of our country he swore to protect, will be buried with him at his side.
The suspect who shot him will stand up in court, with counsel demanding his rights,
While a young widowed mother must work for her kids, and spend alone many long nights.
The beat that he walked was a battlefield too, just as if he’d gone off to war.
Though the flag of our nation won’t fly at half mast, to his name they will add a gold star.
Yes, somebody killed a policeman today, It Happened in your town or mine.
While we slept in comfort behind our locked doors, a cop put his life on the line.
Now his ghost walks a beat on a dark city street, and he stands at each new rookie’s side.
He answered the call, and gave us his all, and a part of America died.
