Its important to note that there are MANY more ways to control PCOS other than medications. Many of these medications have HORRID side affects and don't help as much as the medical community claims.
There are plenty of herbal and natural ways to control PCOS and its issues - not only are herbs safer (despite what the medical community says) but they also offer many health benefits that are exceptionally important for those of us with PCOS....they also don't bring along the horrible and often life threatening side affects that meds such as Metformin, and Birth Control pills do.
I have been controlling my PCOS for over 5 years now with herbal supplements and natural treatments. Not only have nearly all of my symptoms subsided, but I've been blessed with 2 natural (no IF meds or treatments needed) pregnancies as well. I will NEVER, I repeat NEVER return to prescription medications. The risks are just too high with very little return.

Millions of women are suffering from PCOS, Endometriosis, Cysts, Fibrocystic Breasts, and related cancers because of a stupid iodine deficiency. There is a nationwide epidemic of iodine deficiency because the below chemicals are displacing what little iodine we have.

When you start on iodine supplements, you must start small, less than 1mg lugols and work your way up slowly to 12mg daily over a period of 2 or 3 months. The reason is that every drop of iodine you take in detoxes 1 drop or more of halide chemical toxins. If you take too much iodine too soon, you well get sick from Detox Symptoms.
