Our View: MTA finally thinking about Valley, future

Full story: Pasadena Star-News

A beef we have with many advocacy groups is that they don't know how to advance the message after they actually get what they have long lobbied for.

It's about time. Thank you all the SGV politicians who worked together on this.

Sorry to burst your bubble...but the traffic "reduction" will be nill. Has there been any "traffic reduction" on the 101 through Hollywood (Red Line), 110 through South LA (Blue Line), South Bay (Green Line), etc...

What mass transit does it allows for alternatives and density development. Stuff that I love. It's funny how people say there will be "less traffic"..it never happens. Speeds on the 101 increased by 1 mph after the Orange Line opened. Now...back to 0 mph increase. People want to think "others will ride, so that the road is free for me". Wrong.

It looks like being a great day, with everyone doing their best to be great company. You're at your electrifying best, which is saying something, and your presence will definitely add to any gathering you attend. You might even manage to fit in some light-hearted flirting if you're really lucky. It's going to be a Christmas to remember.
