What is everyone's thoughts on the best restaurants in town? Where do you go for the best frozen seafood? What about food contaminated with fecal matter? Is there any place on West Main or East Main that serves overpriced food? Is there any restaurants in town that are managed by female racists? Would you dine in a restaurant with sewage backing up in all the drains? Is there any places associated with colors that are not worth the money?

The following is an excerpt from a company website:

"As it grew into a national brand, Red Lobster introduced guests to fresh dishes such as popcorn shrimp, calamari, snow crab and lobster – often for the first time. Over the years, the brand’s passion for fresh, delicious seafood has kept Red Lobster evolving. The restaurant introduced an award-winning Today’s Fresh Fish Menu, installed wood-fire grills in every restaurant in North America, trained staff to become seafood experts and most recently launched a new restaurant design, inspired by the New England coast."

Does Red Lobster REALLY serve fresh fish and live lobster or do their products come in frozen as server's indicate to the customer when asked? My family is very health conscious and we only will eat where all the food products are truly "fresh" as advertised and not frozen to enjoy optimal nutritional benefits. If their fish, shrimp and other products are frozen, then the above listing on the website would constitute "false advertisement" in violation of federal laws regarding food labeling. Thanks for any advice for all of us new residents in the community!

If it bothers you so much, then why take the time to read and respond?! Perhaps you need to look in the mirror when providing advice of such magnitude.

You should know. Didn't you work there before you got fired for showing up to work drunk?

Red Lobster is always among the best of the best in pretty much every town they serve. Just look at the parking lots on any given night. The locals eat there, so that should tell you something.

I've always found Olive Garden to be very good as well.

Disgruntled former employees are no judge of good food.

You can rest assured from all of your wrongful speculation that I have never worked for Red Lobster or any Darden holding for that matter! As a patron from another state, I have found this location to be lacking in overall quality as compared to other company restaurants. As a matter of fact, I do not nor have I or my wife indulged in alcoholic beverages, but that in no way indicates I judge other people for doing so.

As someone with much more education than either TruthTeller or Seafood Lover, I can assure you I would gladly compare educational and professional accomplishments with either of you. Thanks for the misguided and prejudicial input anyway however! Also, I will concur with you that Olive Garden seems to be quite adequate for this community as well.

Without fail, ALL restaurants in this town are inferior when compared to their counterparts in other geographical locations.

From poor service, to dirty surroundings, to poorly prepared food, Farmington leads the pack.

Most eateries here serve frozen food. Olive Garden's lasagne tastes very similar to a frozen lasagne from your nearest supermarket.

Absolutely, I agree with all of your observations regarding local eateries! I only stated Olive Garden to demonstrate Darden does at least have a mediocre representation in this town; however, we have already discovered the short journey to Durango or other places in Colorado is necessary to enjoy a true dining experience as compared to Farmington. We do miss the abundance of good restaurants from the East coast though overall!

Or Colorado might be a good place fer' ya. There's plenty of snobbish a-holes up there..you' all will fit right in!

We New Mexicans like it jes' fine! In the meantime, yer wife sez you should lay off the bottle a lil'...

To a Farmington redneck ignoramos, ANYONE with a bit if knowledge and culture is "snobbish", so rare are those qualities in this dirty little town. In fact, I can't recall living anywhere with such an abundance of unattractive and ignorant people.

It shore sounds like ole' TruthTeller and Seafood Lover both got way more horse-sense than you snobbish' blue-blood easterners! I get up to Farmington once in a coon's age, and I've grubbed at both Red Lobster and Olive Garden, and they're both purdy good! So I'll stick with them fellers over a drunken lout like yerself, any day!

Then I guess you better get on back to where ya' came from, pardner! Lessen ya' want to end up gettin' horse whipped good by them redneck ignoramuses! I'll hang with country folk over snobbish a-holes like yerself any day!

Sorry yer' prejudiced against the Navajo..but that's yer problem.

Think Red Lobster's still open? I need a good meal!

Well, I believe we will acclimate to our "new" environment just fine, but thanks for your unsolicited opinion anyway even if it rather shallow and displays your ignorance! I believe I can handle the West just fine "pardner"!

As far as Colorado, it is a nice change of scenery compared to Farmington but we enjoy our new residence just fine along with all the square footage it offers. Obviously, you are a Farmington native if you feel the need to be so condescending toward others; however, I have a feeling from observing this community that most people here are transients from somewhere else as well.

It is sad to see you berate others because we use grammatically correct vocabulary, whereas, you enjoy representing your own vernacular as you so eloquently demonstrated in your responses. You patronize establishments where you feel comfortable and we will continue to do the same. By the way, I will say that we are growing to love the west very quickly, but appreciate all parts of America!

Nah, I just berate eastern snobs like yerself who come to New Mexico and then get all bitter n' piss n' moan about how bad it. I figger' if'n yer tellin' the truth 'bout anything, you'll be gone in a year. It's tough in the west, and you ain't got what it takes.

But I'm still leanin' towards the story that you showed up fer' work at Red Lobster all 'Shat faced" and got caught. No one spends as much time beating a dead horse like that unless'n they got a personal ax ta' grind.

Okay, you need to grow some bigger balls than you have now to back up your mouth because you may bark loud, but I guarantee you I can snap you just like a baby rattler's neck. Also, I never said anything against the Navajo people or any Native American, since I find them to be very nice and intelligent people just like many other groups within America.

When you feel hungry, you should eat wherever you choose as long as you go crawl back under your rock when you are finished. Don't write checks with your angry, prejudice mouth that your body can't cash because I am not the one to play your bullsh*t games! You say when and where if you want to "man up" with your big mouth.

Trust me, I will enjoy my engineering position here long after you are dead and gone! I do not and will not care what your opinion is regarding my move to this area for a career move, but I will say it is quite obvious from the aggressive recruitment done by local companies that local people must not have the brains or brawn they are seeking for their openings.

I spend my time beating a dead horse because my mother and father no longer tell me what to do with my time; however, I can assure you I have never worked for Red Lobster. I did grow up on a large farm and I am quite sure my work ethic is superior to yours in any area. In addition, I do not drink alcohol because it does not fit into my health regimen or goals of staying physically and mentally fit. Hope your life improves at some point so you will not live out your remaining days so bitter and cynical toward other people in general.
