So finally Laurens has a mayor. I can't say that I noticed much difference between having a mayor and not having one. Good ridence to that last looser. What were you people thinking when you elected Denny Tate? I just hope the new mayor doesn't sit on his thumb and continue to let this town rott away. I mean it's time to get the water problems fixed and get the streets repaired. Seems the city and it's citizens have been in a {drunken} haze for too long. It seems most people in town only wake up long enough to get drunk and laid. And then we wounder why we have problems.

I agree. And while they're at it why not tear down the shelter house across the street. It would be one less place for the druggies and punks to hang out.
