The state Department of Transportation may take over responsibility of Route 117 in Lancaster and Bolton, and administrators in both towns say that would be one less thing to worry about in their budgets.

If the State DOES take on the responsibility of overseeing Route 117 through Bolton, will the Bolton Police still be dealing with motor vehicle infractions out on 117?
I have to admit that the sight of the Bolton Police, endlessly hiding out at various spots on 117, as they frantically try to create mountains out of molehills by nickle and diming the the Taxpaying Public with chickensh#t motor vehicle citations, as they attempt to commute back and forth to work on 117, turns my stomach indeed.
There is nothing more desperate appearing and pathetic to me than a bunch of overweight middleaged men and women, wearing tiny and ill fitting, undersized police uniforms, convincing themselves that writing tickets to basically law abiding people for petty motor vehicle infractions is being an effective LEO. What a bunch of saps....
