moving to the area

my husband and i are a young couple looking at moving to the greenville area. we've seen a house that we love in ayden, but we're not familiar with the area at all. we're planning on making a visit, but we don't want to come all the way to look at a house, only to discover its in a very scary location. are there any parts of town that should be avoided or anything we should know about this town? whats ayden like? is there anything for a young couple to do, or should we stick to greenville? what areas in greenville should be avoided?
any advice would be wonderful. thanks so much!

Ayden is the place to be. Sorry, I just got on this web site. Wish I could have know sooner. Bang for your buck the best in Pitt COunty. I am a realtor and I raised my children in this town. I love a small town. You will not go wrong buying in Ayden. Good Luck
