Correctional Officers Charged With Beating Inmate With Baton

Two correctional officers and a former captain have been charged with assaulting an inmate at Maury Correctional Institution in Greene County.

my son is locked up there and has written me several times about the abuse of the officers and i have called the warden and called raleigh but nothing was done. he has been locked in the hole for the past year

Nothing ever will be done. As a former inmate of 3 years I can tell you that they turn a blind eye to anything that doesn't make the news. No matter how high you go, the DOC is a bureaucracy and a farse.
