Gary maybe you need to go get your hood tailored. It seems to have cut the blood supply off to your brain.

Ignorance begets ignorance. Can't hold a position in a conversation, the race card is used.

Is your husband still with you or did he move on? Very simple question.

Gary your own ignorance played the race card for you.

There is no "mix". Either you are white or black. If you show Negro characteristics, you are black. If you desire a term other than Negro, try mulato.
BI-RACIAL (again) implies ones' desire/tendency to date one of another race. Same implication as BI-SEXUAL. BI-RACIAL also implies the child can choose which race he/she/mutant is. That decision has already been made by the parents.
Bi-racial is the term used today to describe a person that is the product of a mixed-race relationship. Mulatto is a term derived from the word "mule" (half horse, half donkey) that was used in the slave days to describe a slave of lighter skin tone.

It is a term that is offensive and should not be used.

There is bi-racial, there is tri-racial (you might want to try :p), for all I know there may be quad-racial too. The point is that when you choose not to use that person's term for themselves then you are not respecting them.

My bi-racial wife and her caucasian husband (me) appreciate it. If we have any children, they will not be anything racial in our eyes, they will just be beautiful.

I think the ignorance is being shown on your part, along with a large dose of uncaring and inconsideration.

Re-read the definition of BI-RACIAL and MIXED. How do you know there are only two races involved? How many wood piles did your ancestors have?

As for beauty, that is in the eye of the beholder. If you actually loved children, you would not put them into the position you are about to.

It is quite obvious to me that you are a bigot, sir, and no amount of discussion will get it through your thick head that the times are and have changed.

Please continue to live in your small world where everything is black and white with no in-between. You will, I am sure, dismiss this as a random experience in your otherwise idyllic existence. I will continue to live in my world with the rest of the sane people, in which there is room for change, difference, and diversity.

There we go...the magic word bigot. No LOL or LMAO?

If the world (or this society) is changing, why are all of you here crying for acceptance? If you are so comfortable with your lives, why do you care what others think? I think the problem is within yourselves. I think you are lonely and just seeking attention.

I really have no concern with whom you decide to mate with. I just find your kind amusing.

If by "my kind" you mean people that see another person for what they are on the inside as opposed to what color they care on the outside, then I will accept your compliment.

I am not here seeking attention or acceptance, certainly not from the likes of you. I do seem to have gotten your attention, else you wouldn't continue to post your tripe.

I have been a witness and a recipient of racist comments and remarks from both black and white. The reason I posted here was to show support for people that were in the same situation as I am. Nothing more, nothing less.

Sometimes people just need to know that others have their back.

I have no reason to hate you, despise you, or have any negative feelings toward you, personally. The negative side comes from the way you have expressed yourself on this very forum.

I mean, if you are so against interracial relationships, then why don't you just ignore this forum?

If you had remained on the subject of the post that opened this discussion, you would find that I find inter-racial relationships not upsetting. What I find upsetting is the ones that seek/demand attention from it.

We are all different, who or what you choose to associate with is entirely your business. Just stop rubbing others noses in it. Other people also have a right of association. Not everything you decide to do may be acceptable by others.

And "by your kind", I was referring to the name calling (bigot-intolerant-redneck-hill billy) and assumption that for some reason those that don't see your views are somewhat less intelligent and/or inferior.
