It's a 'citi-sized' thong; about the width of an I-90 lane divider.

I reported her post to her Editor, since this was picked up by so many conservative blogs and even Limbaugh. I demanded that she do a followup. She filed her report at 11:29AM. The event wasn't scheduled to start until 12 Noon. People were being wanded and going through security still...plus, the bleacher seats were over-crowded. I also sent her the goerie.com link and all I got was a nasty email from her. You don't have to agree with my political views for me to respect your reporting...you just need to act like a journalist instead of a political operative when you report.

Actually, yes. If you ever want to see a specialist doctor that will not travel to that area in the winter or you cannot travel 120 miles to reach them, telemedicine visits become your only alternative. In addition, if your kids can't afford to attend a traditional college campus, you can graduate from an Ivy-League school online. But the bigger point of all of this is that we as American's should not be content to be 14th globally in connectivity to the internet. It's a competitive disadvantage to be that deprived of information access as a nation.

And about 500 for the hardware to make that work...and the open space to make the satellite connection work...and 365 clear days a year for the signal to not be disrupted and a carrier that charges over a thousand dollars a year for unreliable service that IS NOT BROADBAND speed.

Hmmmmmm.
Your nuts! You need to install a $150 satellite dish and pay about $80 per month access fee. Hmmmmmm.

Follow the bouncing ball...doesn't 80 bucks a month come out to $960 per year? And that's probably a capped limited time offer for 24 months. You get a dish from a provider for the money you speak of for signing a long-term deal. The speed you get via sattelite is not even close to a cable modem, and only marginally faster than a DSL connection. Oh, and you need to hope and pray for good weather when you hope to use it. It's not a viable option for anyone trying to work from home or run a business...but if it works for you, good. You must be content to be 14th on the list of countries with broadband availablity and fine with your kids and grandkids playing catchup to kids raised and educated in Europe and Asia. Broadband---real not faux---is a necessity in this country, not a luxury.

hmmmm. not true. I'm running on a $20 card I bought on overstock.

And yes you have to pay an access fee -- doesn't everyone or is it only if you make more than $250k per year. Another thought - tell people who live in rural areas to go to the public library. Still cheaper than the Billions to be spent. Wake up.

Me? Wake up? It's evident by your response that you've been hitting the snooze button for about 20 years......

Glad you reported her to her editor. Follow her other blogs posts and columns, and you will see she takes a decidedly conservative point of view. She's out to get Specter now by promoting Joe Sesak, probably because she thinks he can be beat by a Republican in the general election.

Good lord, let Specter end his political career as a Dem...and leave the old fella alone. He's been a Donkey in Elephant's clothing for a long time anyway.

Sagittarius

Tension and worry loom large at various times during the day, but it's nothing that will overwhelm you. If you can manage to keep a cool head, your nerves in check and think things through logically, you'll have a relatively smooth day. Children are a source of joy at the moment.
