Scrambled eggs with lots of sauteed sweet red & green peppers, ham and cheddar cheese, with an applesauce topped English muffin on the side, washed down properly with a tall iced tea. Most excellent!

Has anyone a good recipe for beet greens? I cooked up some tonight just to see how they were, and I was pleased.
Oh yeah - tonight was slow-cooked pork with sauerkraut, and smashed potatoes with carrots thrown in to make 'em pretty. Will be re-visited on Sunday!

I never heard of putting carrots in smashed potatoes, but it sure does sound good. You sound like a good cook. How did you come up with the idea to put carrots in them? How did you cook your beet greens? I bet they'd be good cooked with a ham hock and a pinch of vanilla.

Daily Horoscope for November 15

Virgo

Many of you will find yourselves feeling overly emotional and responding to others in unpredictable ways. You could be the very soul of understanding, or you could be too sensitive to see any point of view beyond your own. Spend the day doing what makes you feel centred and balanced.
