The family of a Crawford County soldier killed in the Iraq War is stunned and shocked at vandalism done to the soldiers's tombstone. Vandals spray painted the stone on the grave of Army Corporal Timothy Lauer. It was discovered on Veterans Day. Lauer was killed in a roadside bombing in Iraq in October 2006. Today family members managed to use solvents to remove most of the paint. They can't beleive anyone would damage the grave of a soldier made the ultimate sacrfice Lauer's widow, Valerie Lauer said, "To have somebody disrespect somebody who gave his life for everybody in this country, there are no words to describe the low type of person who would do that." State Police in Meadville are investigating the vandalism

Mr. Gall can say what he wants, is this not a
country of Freedom of Speech???? Even though some
time ago, I used my Freedom of Speech against the
war, and all hell broke loose. I will never be in
such a situation again. For me, the "Meadville
Forum" is in the past, and just FYI I chose my
friends very carefully, and I rather would be trusted than liked. Some people just like to argue
