I took photos from quite aways away from Harborcreek Resales. About 10:30 am Sun WICU-TV vehicle pulled up and their tape showed up at WICU and WSEE at late night news.

I really have no knowlege as how Resales was doing. They seemed to have lot of nice looking vehicles there. Recently I saw some small cycles there. As I said before the other Resales place just other side of subway went under. Cars whiz by on Rt. 20 and very few businesses make it.

I bought my very last Mustang at Harborcreek Resales about five years ago: beautiful car, cherry-red GT, stick-shift, fancy rims. In retrospect, think I paid too much for it, but they had to find it special for me (middle of winter?). You're right, though, they did have nice-looking vehicles there.

I thought that was the Harbor Inn. Those in Harborcreek grew up going there and for some it was strange in that first Central School (same side as Resales) but west of Fiddle Inn was leveled by arson.
Years later just after a Harborcreek High Reunion the Harbor burned up. That was just east of the Fiddle Inn. Then up west route 20 (same side as rest) Delhurst was destroyed by fire after another reunion. Bizarre stuff in this area.
On other side of Rt. 20 last year I think it was a man who was in trouble years ago for serious crime died when his vehicle swerved off the road and clobbered into a house. I believe it was almost stuck in there.
Then months ago back west at Fiddle Inn a motorist driving his car had stroke, hit sign near underpass and got through Fiddle Inn parking lot and wound up flush against outside of Fiddle Inn. He died.
Despite all that I think Harborcreek is a nice place.
You're doing a GREAT sales job, Fred, lol!!
Kidding.
Growing up, my dad used to bring home the best pizzas ever from the Fiddle Inn -- a little old lady whose name I don't know used to make them on weekends, and they were the best pizzas I ever ate.

I already have talked about the Harborcreek Resales fire, the ones on the same side of the street years apart: Central School, Harbor Inn, Delhurst up the road and I forgot I believe Braenel's barn with old cars years ago.
Little shops have moved in and out across the road. But I would like to mention across from Resales. It was the old fire station. A family bought it, renamed it I think "Engine one" and converted into a nice restaurant and banquet hall.
I ate in there the night before the Resales fire. Just wanted to let you know there are good spots in Harborcreek and this is one if you are hungry for a good meal (closed Monday). Don't forget beer distributor and Fiddle Inn to west and Shurfine/Marketplace just to west. That's my plug for downtown Harborcreek. Ha, Ha.

H C Resales no longer has the lot in North East. That was some time ago. The Youngs now own H C Resales. I know Dan, the son, and do not believe they are responsible for the fire.

Harbor House. We had our wedding receiption there in '87 and it burned down the following year, I think. Funny, we spent our first anniversary at the Bel Aire and there was a fire there after that, too. Good excuse to never spend an anniversary at home, lol!
I remember that. Are you related to Roger Damewood?
