County takes another look at training center

After restructuring the agenda, the Highlands County Commission decided to hear some of the citizens who were present to speak out for and against the Stipulated Settlement Agreement concerning the proposed Eagle Security Training Center just west of Venus .

Having lived in the Brunswick,Ga. area for a few years, the FLETC center there had a positive effect on the community in the aspect that the trainees' on their off time would intermingle with the local population and observed first hand how the local drug dealers and other riff raff operated. Without interfering with the local Law Enforcement.
