If they can charge this officer for extortion why can't they go after Chaney's Used Cars. They are using the same ploy towards Hispanics. They terroize them by repoing their cars and then force them to pay enormous amount of money-thousands to get it back. If the Hispanics are unable to come up with the cash they sell it to another unsuspecting minority. These people are calious and shred and target the Hispanic community. They offer buy here pay here to people who cannot get conventional loans and then they terrorize them-sometimes losing their payments so to reposess the cars and get money needed for new boats and items for the Chaneys. These people have not had any way of knowing what is being done to them is a crime. They do not know how to fight these ruthless people. If Gerald Chaney says they did not pay and produce a receipt he yells at them to get off of his property and whne the police are called they say it is a civil matter. These Hispanics do not know they have rights or how to fight these people. It is a Scam-a great big Chaney Scam to bully and terrorize the underprivelaged.

Wow -- I think I read a similar story years back; it was towards the introduction of John Steinbeck's novel, Grapes Of Wrath.(Automobile dealer is approached by the "Joad" family --I think -- who wants to go where they think the grass is greener. They buy a car --- only the car isn't what they thought it was, and the people get scammed.) I guess that means the practice has been around forever -- which led ordinary people to the conclusion, Caveat Emptor or buyer beware.
The hispanics I know (from Miami) are well aware of this, and take measures to protect themselves. Do these people pay by check?

You are so right. If they prosecute this cop for taking money from hispanics they were not entitled to and run a scam against hispanics because they did not know better, please explain why Chaney's Used Cars can get away with the same thing but in a much larger capacity? We need answers!
