What is the Sebring area like?

Drove through Sebring and thought it was really nice. Resident: what are your thoughts about the area?

i love it. i live in lake placid, just south of sebring. a lake/golf small town. very pretty, like being on vacation. i'm from tampa, still close but no traffic...loving it.

great area I have a home in Placid Lakes,(Lake Placid) on a canal to lake June. Quiet yet lots to do Wonderful!!!!

Thank you so much for answering! Can I ask a few questions? How about the cost of living? Housing? Crime? Are there any retirement communities in the area?

I love it also but the more people that keep coming from the big cities is starting to make it unpleasant.
