N.C. beach drivers unhappy about pedestrian upgrades
The agency seeks public comment on 29 proposed projects - including 15 parking areas and 11 handicap-accessible boardwalks - that would make it easier and safer to reach the beach along Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

Yes people who own 4 wheel drive vehicles should be the only ones with access to the beach. I personally love all the ruts, crushed shells, the ambience that I am on the side of an interstate that these people bring to the sand and beach. The sight of one plowing its way up the beach, lovely, fond memories.
Maybe these people should learn to walk, from what I have seen a little exercise would do most of this ilk some good. Maybe they would appreciate the beach, nature a little more.
Ah, we need AC and instant gratification and a cooler of beer. Is my neck red?
