Yes I laughed about the floods not people dying, you dumb azz. And it wasn't a comment when it happened, I actually laughed along with many other people. And yes I would have still made the comment (yesterday) because my comment was once again about the flooding not people dying. This is like talking to a 3 year old. You are complaining about the train, if the horn is attached to the train you are indeed complaining about the train. In case your not aware trains didn't just start using and blowing their horns last month or even two years ago, trains having been blowing their horns since trains have been on tracks. So if you thought that living by the tracks you weren't going to hear the horn and they were just going to stop using one for you, your an idiot. Your an idiot anyway. It's to be expected when living by the tracks. I thought all this was for a quiet zone now you want barriers to keep people out, how about some rubber for the wheels? I want nothing that you have. I grew up in the city and don't miss not living there. No privacy, no yard and high taxes. I prefer the rural life where I can do whatever I please. As long as your happy in Hudson that is all that matters. I do however apologize for being so p.i.s.s.y. I just quit smoking a couple of days ago and have been extremely irritable, as you can tell. A quiet zone would not make the crossing safer it would actually increase the danger of the crossing. Trains have horns for a reason and they blow them at every intersection for a reason. All the quiet zone is intended for are the people who live next to the tracks can sleep better, but in my opinion were dumb enough to buy a home next to the tracks knowing that trains travel through there all day and night and when they do, blow their horns as a safety measure.

If you fail to pay attention to your driving, fail to obey crossing signals/guards and get hit by a train, it is your fault and you deserve the consequences - IE hopefully die so your stupidity is out of the gene pool.

Just to clarify a little further, the rampant inattention to driving I speak of is the fools on the phone talking, texting, drinking their Starbucks or putting on their makeup while attempting to drive.

Especially love the winter time when some fool is in a four wheel suv/truck holding up traffic while they are creeping down the road because the conditions are SO dangerous but they are driving with one hand on the wheel and another holding the cell phone. These people I DO want DEAD, train or no train. LOL!!!
