Ever see footage of Spring Break in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale? Lovely girls let strangers eat Jello shots off their belies. I guess that is PERFECTLY acceptable, since it is, you know, straight behavior.

Ever been to an auto show? Pretty girls in short skirts undulate along new cars, pointing at steering wheels or whatever, implying if you buy this car, she will come with it.

Ever seen a beer commercial? Plain guys hoist a Bud and lovely girls flock to his side, implying if you order this beer, you'll be chased by pretty girls.

Axe Body Wash commercial, the lovely girls follow the dumpy guy around trying to sniff him, all the average guy need do is buy a bottle of it and he will have lovelies tailing him like dogs tailing a hot dog cart.

Why do girls wear short tight skirts and super high heels? for COMFORT?

This is ALL flaunting of sexual behavior.

DAVID MOORE of Pekin, Illinois parades his lies giving negative images of a pathological liar.

And it's spelled "IRRESPONSIBLE", you IDIOT. If you're going to point fingers and criticize, learn to spell your taunts CORRECTLY, moron.

Gee, stupid AND intolerant. What a surprise, and a liar on top of it. Great CHRISTIAN values.

Why do the Irish feel that way in March? Why do football fans need to flaunt their barbarism in a parade every January 1st? Why do straight people flaunt their perversions every February in New Orleans? Why must delusional theists parade their myths every November and December? Why do they crave so much attention? Must be the American Way.

Gay people throw parades, because straight people TAUGHT us how. That's how people celebrate.

The funny thing is, we WOULDN'T celebrate, if we didn't feel victorious over people like you who are daily dedicated to tearing others down.

You can help end the parades, by ending your prejudice against gay people. Stop making adolescence something that someone must "survive", and they won't feel pride in having done so. If you weren't putting so many obstacles in the way of so many people's happiness, they wouldn't feel a need to celebrate overcoming those obstacles.

You create pride and celebration, by creating adversity.

Parades are all about flaunting SOMETHING. Not everyone is going to like every parade. You make too big a deal out of it. Get over yourself. Should every parade committee check with you before they set up their route, to make sure you approve of what they "flaunt"? The millions of gay AND STRAIGHT people who attend pride celebrations every year couldn't care less what you don't like to see flaunted.

Hate to tell you this, but that's NORMAL life. That's the acceptable norm. They're not out parading in the streets, saying, look at me, I'm straight. Just because you freaks are abnormal and want to blend in, doesn't give you all the right to claim the norm as the majority, which you are definitely not.
Ah, the little hypocrite sounds off. How nice YOU own "sexuality" and what is proper or not.

Ever seen "The Bachelor"? There are men running around almost nude on national TV to wow the girls. I guess that is totally acceptable to you also, flaunting their hetero beings.

I am SURE your fine body would be the winner of that show. I can tell, since you are so self assured, that you have an underpants model body.

Ever seen a Martin Luther King Day parade? Ever seen a Veteran's Day parade? Ever seen a St. Patrick's Day parade? Ever seen a famous Football Championship parade?

They are all set up for one reason, to celebrate a certain demographic.

BTW, I have not been, but I understand Mardi Gras parades are almost full on live porn. I guess that is celebrating HETERO pride, or am I wrong?

Plus those thong/bikini contests, wet t-shirt, etc but that's okay according to the morality bunch.

There is nude beach by south beach with lots of girls and hetero men have been caught taking illegal pics and doing other unsavory things under their beach towels.

One guy in particular who calls himself Frank Rizzo has been escorted by police off the beach for such acts ,more than a dozen times in as many weeks.

You Queers just can't stand the fact that you Perverts parade to flaunt your perversion and straights don't.
We... what now? Wait a minute.

We can't stand the fact that we do something which you don't? How does this make any sense?

If we couldn't stand it, why would we do it? I'm no expert in human psychology, but judging by the attitudes of the people IN the parades, they seem to LOVE it. They sure don't look like they "can't stand it". If they couldn't stand it, then wouldn't they just do a different kind of parade? Or no parade at all? No one is FORCED to participate in a parade, you know.

Do you have any idea how much WORK it is to coordinate a parade through a major city? Seems like a lot of unnecessary effort for something that a person can't stand.

Is Mardi Gras done for the same reasons? The straight people in the parades just can't stand it, so they break out the floats and marching bands? How about Carnivale in Rio? Same thing? They just can't STAND stilts and costumes, so out come the stilts and costumes?

Man, you should tell your dealer to dial it back a little.
The Shadow wrote:
That's why you all call it, Gay Pride Parade.
Can't get no clearer than that.
If your English "can't get no" clearer than THAT, then you'll forgive me if I chuckle your opinion away. When the parade comes down your street, just shut your blinds, lock your doors, and turn up Pat Robertson.

If you say so. ANY minute now, right?

Do you have an SPECIFICS on how that will work against someone, or is it scarier if you remain vague?

I haven't been to the Seattle parade in 5 years. Is that eventually going to work FOR me?
The Shadow wrote:
What percentage of you freaks actually walk and talk like the stereotype Queer?
Who knows. Who cares? Go out and count them if you need to know. The percentage can't get no clearer if you don't!

You ever seen the version of the gay Bachelor or Bachelorette? Oh that's right, there isn't one. That's because it's not normal. No one wants to see a bunch of Queers doing what Queers do. So except the fact that you freaks are lucky to get excepted on any level.
Actually, they did do a Gay Bachelor show about 5 years ago on Bravo. Their hook was that one of the bachelors was straight and if he picked him, he would lose. He did not, by the way.

It was quite popular and they even did a parody of it on "Mad TV" which was hilarious. I wish they were still on, I found them fresher than "Saturday Night Live".

So you DON'T have any specifics on how a parade will work against anyone.... I didn't really think so.

You just keep rolling on the floor, there. I'm sure that will have a tremendous impact on world and national politics. MUCH more influence than anything with fun costumes, music, dancing, food, photos, and community involvement. Oh yeah, people just CAN'T STAND that sort of thing. That's why they do so much of it.

Please, explain how so.
The Shadow wrote:
People think you freaks in the parade are silly, funny, and ridiculous up to a point, then when the funny wears off and it starts getting annoying and too much, it'll start working against you.
HOW SO? In what way? Can you be specific AT ALL? Should we expect criminalizing legislation? Violence? Concentration camps? Prank phone calls? Let's hear something concrete.

And when will this start? The first pride parade was 44 years ago. They're held on every continent except Antarctica, most of them for decades. When will the funny wear off? In ANOTHER 44 years? 10 minutes? The day after Modern Family goes off the air?

You can't just say that "vague, scary, fill-in-the-blank things will happen eventually, in an undetermined time in the future". You need to actually say WHAT will happen and WHEN it will happen. Otherwise, you sound like a conspiracy nut.
The Shadow wrote:
That's why you ONLY have them in select locations.
"Select" locations, like the biggest cities in the world, with the largest populations? Yeah, what a terrible tactic. That'll never reach ANYONE.

Uh, Bravo is national, it is on everyone's basic cable.

I hope someday you can move on from your parents' 19 inch Zenith console TV and get more than 7 channels and 4 UHF ones. PLEASE tell me that it is at least a COLOR set.

Ah, memories!
